We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Poplar Ridge. The cabin was just as pictured with thoughtful details throughout -- the light on the bathroom faucet was a fun touch! Having a gas grill under the covered porch was very convenient as well. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset after a full day of hiking... just pure bliss.

Site matched the description and was quiet and secluded. Visits by wildlife almost every morning/evening and an enjoyable time staying there. Very clean and well-appointed with furnishings and additional nice touches. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a stay. Might be somewhat challenging with 6-7 people and only one bathroom but worked fine for just the two of us!

I can't wait to go back!!!

Poplar ridge is a beautifully designed cabin. It is open and spacious with plenty of room to socialize, and even a loft to read if you want some quiet time. The cabin looks brand new! There is a hot tub outside with an outside TV and plenty of towels to accommodate your hot tub experience. The bathroom is also very large and spacious and bright. Everything about this cabin is perfect!

Great property with beautiful views

We had a fantastic time at Poplar Ridge. The home itself is beautifully designed with a great layout. Everything is modern and works very well together. The lighting creates a great mood. Nice hot tub. The views from the back deck—especially at sunset—were amazing. It’s a very quiet spot, yet close to everything, just a few minutes from the state park and Ash Cave. We would definitely book again!

Beautiful cabin.

I loved my bed, so comfy. The knotty pine was was so cozy. The cabin was spotless, and I loved the balcony overhang off the master bedroom. The shower was also amazing. No complaints.

Amazing Cabin and Stay!

We had an awesome time at Poplar Ridge Cabin. It is new, very clean, and so close to several famous hiking places, food options, and only one mile from the beautiful winery!! It is very private and secluded with amazing views from the front porch of the sunrise and sunset. We can't wait to come back!!

Beautiful cabin nestled deep in the woods with everything you could need. Just bring food and firewood for a quiet retreat away from it all. Four wheels drive is a must or all wheel drive. My wife and daughter enjoyed it just as much as i did. Thank you Popular Ridge!

Me and my husband came to this property to celebrate our anniversary and see hocking hills The property was as described and the home was nice. However the communication was non existent. Our first night arriving there was a storm that knocked out the power. Unfortunately without WiFi there was no service so we drove into town to reach out to the owners to let them know the power was out. We did not receive a response but luckily there was a crew out a few hours later that got the power restored. The next day we reached back out to inquire about fixing or resetting the WiFi and the security system because the security box’s alarm was going off every 30 seconds after the power outage. Again received no response. We received what I assume was an automated email response asking how our stay was and I replied to that email with my concerns. Still no response. Over all would have been a nice stay if there was not an alarm going off constantly or if we were able to search our area for places to go from the house rather than driving into town for service. Very disappointed with the amount of communication and would not stay here again.
