"We loved our stay at Vanira Lodge. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. We were in Vai Ora and the views were stunning. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on our terrace and having AC in the bedroom. The only thing that might be an issue for some people are the lizards and small worms that share the space. My husband left his kindle on our flight, and the ladies especially Rae were instrumental in the recovery of the kindle. "We stayed at the Kon-Tiki for 3 nights prior to a cruise. In general, the hotel was excellent, with very comfortable beds and superb overall cleanliness. There were 3 specific things that dropped the rating a bit. The housekeeping staff took our small towel on the second day and never replaced it. The filtered water bottle was refilled, but the filter itself wasn't replaced correctly and I ended up pouring water all over the counter when it fell out.
