"This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience. "

"We spent a total of 6 nights at the Kon Tiki before and after a cruise. On first arriving in the middle of the night there was a mix-up with our room category which the reception staff could not fix without the manager's approval. Instead of an ocean front room we were given a room at the back with a view over a container depot. This was not the fault of the hotel but Expedia who provided incorrect information about our booking. Upon speaking to the manager the following day we were moved to a...

"Reva and her assistant were proactive, patient, resourceful, helpful. They made my stay at the bungalow pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy and fresh. The facility is old but well maintained. It’s like being in your own little island hideaway."

"Pension Pare Lodge was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. The environment at Pare was serene and relaxing. We loved the pool, the chickens and their antics, and the cute dog. I would highly recommend Pension Pare Lodge. "

"Highlight is the very kind and accommodating staff. Everyone last person was friendly and helpful, especially the young intern at the front desk. The La Lotus restaurant is surprisingly outstanding. The over water bungalows desperately need to be modernized, but were clean and comfortable. For the prices, especially the bungalow prices, please improve the pool chairs to add cushions. The spa was adequate but is in a small cramped space. Gym is roomy and well kept. "

"Séjour enchanteur au Hilton. Nous avons adoré nos bungalows sur pilotis avec les poissons et les requins à pointes noires qui nageaient dessous.
