"The place was cute and exactly as described. When we arrived, it was horribly musty smelling. We had to open all the doors and windows and turn on the fans. There were gnats in the kitchen area and the bathroom, dust bunnies in multiple places, and a missing smoke detector. The yard had not been mowed recently and was unpleasant to walk through to the creek. There was a fire pit with yard chairs stacked on top. No firewood in sight. At the total price of $241 for one night, we were disappointed."

"This was a lovely little house to use as a home base for some mountain adventures. My kids especially loved the full-sized bunk beds. Check in was easy, the hosts responded immediately to questions and were very helpful. An added bonus, Weaverville itself is a great little town with good food and fun shops! "We were not able to use the hot tub due to there not being enough water, which was a bummer. The hot tub appeared old and not very clean. Water pressure is not great if you want a good shower. The fireplace from the pictures didn't work either. I never heard back from the host after I messaged them about the hot tub. For the price, you might as well get a hotel with a working hot tub and good shower. "

"Wonderful house. Beautiful views. Excellent hosts. I traveled with family while I had business in town. Hosts thought of everything. Game systems for the teenagers. Pack n play for my baby. Accessible hosts by text/phone. Short drive to downtown Asheville, but plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I would definitely return. Be mindful if you travel with anyone with mobility concerns...parts of the driveway are steep due to the mountainous landscape. Overall a wonderful property. "

Historic Cottage Retreat • walk to downtown • porch swings • cozy fireplaces
Historic Montford
9.8 sobre 10, Excepcional, (71 comentarios)
"History buffs will especially appreciate this house. The owners have come up with a good compromise between historical accuracy and modern livability. The kitchen is adequately furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels, and the bathroom and shower-tub are totally functional. Plenty of hot water, which can sometimes be an issue with older homes. There are multiple grocery stores a short driving distance from the place, and the downtown is very close. Easy access to the River...
