"Let me start with the house. It’s beautiful inside and out. It was perfectly equipped for the 5 of us (adults) to stay for our son’s graduation from BMT at Lackland AFB. We all enjoyed the open concept living area and of course the quiet space in our bedrooms. The property manager was responsive and had great communication. "Loved Hotel Contessa. Beautiful property and the location was perfect. Easy walk to all downtown attractions, restaurants and shops. Being on the riverwalk was awesome!!! Roof top pool was my favorite spot over looking the city. "

"It would be great if this property had a pool. It was nice having breakfast included but the food was lukewarm. Location is great to the Alamo and other Riverwalk amenities. Overall, it was an okay stay."

"I had a generally positive stay at this hotel. The room was clean and quiet, which made for a comfortable and restful experience. The shower had excellent water pressure, and I appreciated the hot breakfast offered on the weekends—it was a nice touch. "This was a beautiful hotel near the Riverwalk but with peace and quiet when needed. The hotel had wonderful dining spaces (indoor, open air, shaded outdoor, and poolside. The pool was lovely too with plenty of room and both sunny and shady areas. Everyone on staff was extremely friendly including front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and wait staff. Extremely! They made our stay very enjoyable and I would highly recommend this when you stay in San Antonio. "

"I gave this hotel, a nine out of 10. It was an easy check-in, hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. But, there was only one coffee cup, and I had to request more from the cleaning ladies. The next day, we had no coffee cups and the cleaning lady said she did not have any coffee cups on her cart either just lids. So we had no coffee on the second and third day in our rooms. Nor did anyone come to clean our rooms. "

"Excellent location. Convenient valet parking although a bit clumsy upon first drop-off. The property seems a bit old and the expedia photos don't reflect properly the room dectoration but overall the room was comfortable and suitably equipped. Staff is efficient but a bit hands-off. "
