Huge new timber deck overlooking the beach and park. 3 double bedrooms, one with new ensuite, 1 rumpus room with 1 set of bunks, maximum sleep 6 adults and 2 kids. New rear deck with hooded BBQ. Top spot for a sea break

Loved the position of this place and even though the weather was variable the experience from the balcony was refreshing. We live in the Blue Mountains and it is great to be able to take in the sea every now and then and the relative isolation of this small community adds to that experience. The place has obviously been upgraded and was very clean throughout. There was an issue with the HomeAway site saying that linen and towels were provided when in fact this was not the case, however the agent handling the property promptly rectified this. The front door locks could be upgraded as the lower bolt lock (the most substantial lock) did not engage with the door frame. I was a little surprised at the lack of a security box for the key and when leaving the property I was asked to leave the key in a rusty electricity box at the side of the property. This made us slightly nervous since if the cleaners did not arrive promptly after our exit it would be a very obvious place for intruders to check and perhaps do damage to the property. These are small points and they did not distract from us having a great weekend.

Fantastic location super clean

We just loved staying at this property and will be back. Property manager was helpful, place was spotless, location is one of the best. Accommodated children of different ages. Second living space was a life saver with the kids.

The best view at MacMasters

The property was very clean and well kept. The property manager was easy to deal with, helpful and obliging. Though the weather wasn't totally in our favour that weekend and we didn't get to enjoy the fantastic balcony as much as we intended, it was close to a park where the kids had hours of fun playing and we spent a lot of time upstairs looking out at the amazing view. The outdoor balconies all had good fencing and gates on them to keep the children well contained. The kitchen was very well equipped and made for easy prepping of food and meals. Downstairs was quite cold as one of the heaters wasn't working (but that's a minor thing that would be addressed). It was a great opportunity to get away for a few days and a lovely place to stay.

Perfect position

Booked this property very last minute, and loved it! The location is spot on, great ocean views from the deck, and the house just had a really nice vibe about it! Hope to be back!

MacMasters Beach

Fantastic house, well equipped. 2 living areas if kids/adults want a break away. So close to awesome beach. Great stroll along beach to Coppa if you want the paper or cafe, basic suppermarket or cafe also at MacMasters.

Perfect Location

We are 6 ladies who stayed in MacMasters Beach for the 5 Lands Walk. The house is a perfect location, comfortable beds, well equipped. It was a cold weekend and the 2 heaters upstairs and 1 downstairs were very efficient at warming the whole house. Would stay there again. Loved it

Exceptional weekend

This was an exceptional home to stay in for the weekend. 2 minutes to the beach, great ocean facing balancing to relax all day and the home facilities were faultless. Barbara was very helpful, the home is very clean and has everything you need for a fantastic weekend getaway.

We just love this property. Plus, there have been some lovely renovations since our last visit as well. Good communication with the agent too. Highly recommended.

Its got better!

The location is great and the vew is unbelievable! Everything is clean, bright and in great condition. New carpet and a fresh paint job was a very nice change from other places I have stayed at. There is a big new secure deck at the rear of the house which was great for the kids. Looking fwd to returning (without the kids but with more wine!)

Beach house heaven

This house is so easy and comfortable to stay. Anything you need is on hand. Being so close to the beach is delightful with the sound of the waves crashing as you sleep. The big deck is terrific - just watch out for an opportunistic kookaburra looking for easy snacks. Highly recommend for families.

What a lovely weekend!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing weekend. The large deck is superb and the views are wonderful. The house is clean, tidy, functional and has everything you need. We went to sleep and woke up to the sound of the surf. We're already looking forward to our next stay. Thanks. Unlike the previous reviewer, we found the agent to be very professional and friendly to deal with. (We had no issues with the linen and towels either!) It's reassuring to know you're dealing with a licensed real estate agent and agency.

The perfect weekend away

What a way to welcome in spring! He had a VERY relaxing weekend at 'Macs Beachhouse.' The location is superb, the beach is awesome, the house has everything you need and the burgers at the Surf Club are excellent! Barbara, the managing agent, was responsive, helpful and easy to deal with. The large flat screen HD TV has ALL of the Foxtel channels - we don't even have that at home! The large and sunny deck overlooking the beach was perfect for breakfast, lunch and a few 'sundowners.' We opted for the adults upstairs and the children downstairs - worked perfectly! We hope to return for some summer holiday action in the near future. Oh, did I mention the whale sightings?...

Great holiday beach house

A great place to spend some quite relaxing time. The sun on the main deck was lovely - very welcome in winter. Very comfortable main lounge room with excellent big screen TV. Kitchen is well appointed, with new stove and dishwasher being appreciated. Portable heaters keep the downstairs bedrooms warm in winter. Overall, facilities and space are just what you want and need in a beach holiday house.
