"The property is very well located to the beach, town, bus and train station. The house is clean and very comfortable with so many extras like toys and beach items (buckets, spades, crabbing stuff, kites etc) which was a lovely surprise as I packed light! We had great communication from the host and all the house was full of really useful information about surrounding walks and attractions. As a family with young children we found this the perfect place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again"

"Tilly is an amazing host. Engaged but not intrusive. The property was perfect with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking can be tricky but not impossible. May just have to park around the corner. Details of facilities in the area were spot on and very useful. The Netflix went down just before we left which I would have reached out about if we were staying longer but was fine for the bulk of our stay. Would definitely return if staying in Portsmouth again. "We booked this property as a family to attend a wedding. The property looks lovely from the outside but is dated inside. There were cables coming out of the wall in the lounge, the beds were uncomfortable and didn’t fit the frames and we had no instructions on how to use everything. That is just the start of what is wrong with this house."

"This was a lovely property in a beautiful location. The garden was great for the two dogs that we brought. The host showed us around when we arrived and said if we needed anything just to ring this was comforting. The only slight draw back was it could have been a little cleaner in fact there were a pair of knickers under one of the beds presumably left by a previous tenant!"

"Wow. An absolutely fabulous property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s beautifully presented and It really is so well equipped. The only thing I would mention is if you have really small dogs (we have a Border Terrier and a Jack Russell) the garden isn’t sufficiently enclosed that they couldn’t escape, but other than, it is a stunning spot for a really fantastic holiday. The owners are super-helpful and we absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone...

"Could do with some updating. For instance who put the bathroom cabinet and mirror up. Need to stand on tips of toes to shave. Also the mirror in the twin room. Shower door needs new water seal along the bottom edge - looks as though never cleaned YUK! The settees are looking very tired with holes and internal stuffing showing. The electric fire in the lounge does not work. The lounge clock has stopped. Quite a few ants on the prowl but no ant powder? If you are going to provide a 'J Cloth' then...

"This was our second holiday here and it was just as good as the first. We spent a lot of time reading in the lounge, watching the tide come in and out, and the shipping on the Southampton Water. The house is as described, but much better than the pictures can show. It is very comfortable with plenty of seating for six people, both in the lounge and the dining area. The galley kitchen is narrow, but perfectly functional. The stairs to the top bedroom are a bit steep, but there are sturdy...

"Outside front of property could do with a garden tidy up & garage door needs attention. Gives a wrong first impression,also picture of pub called The Woolpack is nowhere near the property,picture states outside which gives a wrong impression. Overall we liked the property & it was very clean & had everything we needed."

"We had a great family stay at Hazelhurst Farm. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. The hosts (Hayley and Carl) were also super nice and helpful. We'll definitely come back "
