"Beautiful seaside inn, lovely room with wonderful view. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, nice amenities. Excellent breakfast!!"

"I’ve stayed at the Mason’s Arms twice now, and both times it’s been exceptional. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable and warm, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is fantastic. I’ll go out of my way to stay here in future."

"Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay."

"Friendly manager and staff, comfortable room and bed and a great breakfast to top it off. Thank you"

"We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again"

"Muy agradable, habitación preciosa, con una linda vista al mar. El personal muy amable. El hotel tiene un típico pub inglés. Muy pintoresco. 100% recomendable "

"La comida"

"Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between."

"Beautiful setting, full of character. Wonderfully welcoming and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast! The regular menu is also excellent. A nice respite in a busy world!"

"The breakfast was superb. It was so nice having a breakfast that was individually cooked and delivered to the table hot. The property is old and the floor in my room was at a slight incline. Not a problem at all but I did describe it as being like the house in the film of The Ladykillers - and that is with total affection as I love that film. Ate in the restaurant on one evening - good food and a good price. Would recommend!"

"Beautiful location with stunning views. The room was contemporary and well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the many choices of beers and wine. Ample parking with easy access. My only negative with the room is that the shower cubicle and bathroom could do with some maintenance by way of grouting and sealing, as there was quite a bit of mould in the shower. "Unique"

"The outside lights were very bright shining into the room."

"Great family friendly accommodation and pub. We felt truly welcomed with our little one! We will return when in the area. "

"Hôtel sympathique. Propriétaires très souriant. La chambre donnait sur la terrasse du pub. Beaucoup de bruit donc même si le service s’arrête tôt. Salle de bain pour personne en situation de handicap. Pas de pression pour l’eau. Installation vieillotte."

"Room was clean but starting to look a little bit tired. Had a great nights sleep."
