"This property is spacious and just steps away from the heart of downtown Helen, and we walked everywhere on this trip. One caution...the walk into town is mostly downtown, so walking uphill back to the cabin could be problematic for guests with mobility issues. We would definitely return to Delaine's Retreat for another stay!"

"Hidden Gem is just that! We had a restful time tucked in the woods listening to birds and restoring our bodies and souls. The place is so beautifully decorated and clean; makes it easy to relax. Day trips to Anna Ruby Falls and into Helen and Sautee made afternoon outings a joy. Would return in a heartbeat. Maureen and Bill are excellent hosts and easy to reach with any questions. "

The view of the valley and surrounding mountains from the cabin was beautiful. It’s a great place for a couple looking to get away. "This was a great property. We definitely had fun inside since the weather didn't cooperate. You will need to bring something to stream your favorite service for the TVs, since there is no cable service, this wouldn't normally be an issue but since it was raining all weekend we didn't get to enjoy the dock as much as we would have liked.
