It was not the host's fault that the streets were closed. We had a very difficult time getting to the property because of the closures. The host finally found us and lead us to the property having us drive through a pedestrian walkway.But the real problem with the property is an incredibly uncomfortable bed. A new mattress should be purchased. We left a day early because we needed a good sleep.

This is perfect location for spendding few days in Lucas

L'acceuil a été très bien fait par la personne qui nous attendait (maella ?) le fait de pouvoir rentrer la voiture est un plus incontestable. la maison est très calme tout en étant a quelques mètres du centre historique. Nous sommes ravis

Perfect Location and Space

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were very comfortable for 11 days. It was centrally located and the building was quiet and the parking was such an added bonus. We will be back!

Absolut empfehlenswert !!

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen gepflegten Ambiente war perfekt. Es war alles vorhanden was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht. Es liegt wunderbar central und trotzdem Nachts absolut ruhig. Super auch der PKW-Stellplatz im Garten !!. Sehr gute Restaurants sind z.B Trattoria la Dritta Restaurant La Norma sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir können diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful find in Lucca

Beautiful apartment with private parking inside the walls of Lucca. Luxury apartment with great decor and immaculate. Has a small patio with comfortable furniture and a balcony off the upstairs bedroom. Property manager met us there within 10 minutes of our arrival. Chiara was professional and very pleasant. We will be back.

Sensationell gelegen, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der eigene Parkplatz vor der Tür und die Terrasse sind nicht zu toppen.

Excellent location in Lucca

We were staying for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the location of this beautiful appartment. Important was for us the dedicated car parking place which is a big plus of the property. Communication with the agency and even the owner was easy and they were all very helpful. To mention is also the little balcony and the table and chairs in the garden directly in front of the entrance to the appartment - it’s secluded and perfect for a breakfast or lunch in the sun. We would stay there again if we were to return to Lucca!

Guter Platz in Lucca

Das Apartment ist funktional eingerichet. Die Bilder stimmen 100% mit dem Apartment überein. Wir haben insbesondere den Garten genossen. Die Lage zur Stadt ist hevoragend, insbesondere entfällt die lästige Parkplatzsuche in Lucca. Eine kleine Anmerkung. Um den Chartakter eines gehobenen Arpartments aufrecht zuerhalten, sollten die Wände einen frischen Anstrich erhalten.

Beautiful city of Lucca

Upon arrival Property was very clean and spacious. Mrs Sonia met us and showed us round. On our visit the weather was chilly but we were told the law was that heating was not allowed. We are not sure that anyone had stayed in the property for some time before us. Air con remote didn’t work and tv remote had flat batteries which we had to replace. The property is marketed with a car parking space yet when I suggested getting a hire car from the airport prior to arrival, Mrs Sonia told us we would get fined by the cameras of the police if we drove into the walled city and it was best to use public transport, taking her advice we did this, but felt that the property was marketed to allow the use of aircon and car parking then not recommended on arrival. So we were slightly disappointed by this. The property although painted white does not get a lot of sunlight. Small Patio faces east so gets the morning sun briefly. The tyres on the bikes in the shed were not pumped up so we were unable to use them. The office said they would sort for the next guests. However Lucca is a lovely place to stay and we would love to visit again. However for the extra we paid for this apartment we would not use this apartment again.

Posto all interno delle mura di Lucca con parcheggio privato è molto comodo se si vuol vi ere la città a piedi oppure in bicicletta, tra l altro disponibili all Inter o del costo dell affitto. Pulizia della cucina soprattutto non all altezza dell immobile purtroppo.

Great apartment inside the wall on quiet street with parking!

My husband and I enjoyed 1 1/2 weeks in this delightful and well appointed apartment. There is a private security gate that opens to allow a car to park. Nice private patio and from there you enter the ground floor apartment. Quiet street, washing machine in apartment with laundromat 2 doors down if you feel the need to dry clothes there rather than hang on the supplied clothes rack. Very nice kitchen. Upstairs is the large bedroom with comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Small balcony with 2 chairs from the bedroom overlooking the garden. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the center of town with cafes and good grocery store nearby. Mrs. Sonia was very quick to get back to me when I had questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Tolles Appartement in zentraler Lage

Das Appartement entspricht genau der Beschreibung und auch die Fotos sind authentisch. Bei heißen Außentemperaturen war die Klimaanlage unverzichtbar. Schön, dass wir einen Auto-Stellplatz mit abschließbarem Tor hatten. Tagsüber konnten wir dank der zentralen Lage Ausflüge nach Pisa, Viareggio, Siena, Florenz, Carrara, San Gimignano, Volterra usw. unternehmen, abends spazierten wir auf der Mauer entlang oder stürzten uns zu Fuß ins Nachtleben. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Lovely place for two in Lucca

The Appartement was everything it was advised for : Modern, clean and in perfect location to explore Lucca and surrounding areas. The agent, Sonia, was not exactly very helpful. The final info before check-in was a general list for all the apartments on her books - it would be helpful to specifically get instructions on how to drive to the apartment. Also our email questions concerning this matter did not get answered. Furthermore, we arranged with her on the day before check-in to meet at 2pm. She arrived 45 minutes later, and only after we sent another email that we were still waiting in the heat in front of the apartment. No mention of an excuse. .. Also beware - we had to pay an additional Euro 50 apparently for cleaning, even if it said on the website that final cleaning is included. .. Sonia showed us the additional sentence on the website. But why write further up that linen AND CLEANING is included and then add more costs to be paid on check-in? Doris & Walter, New Zealand
