"Liked, Loved the rental house lay-out. Ease of directions despite pea-soup fog on arrival after dark. Liked proximity to two provincal parks (< 20 mintes each). Central loocation for several "day trips" < 1.5 hours to most destinations). Even loved the next-door neighbors, 10 to 12 cows and calfs. Quiet, almost remote, little road traffic."

"The house has the characteristics of a peaceful era of time gone by! If walls could talk the history of the house would be full of stories! At one time it was probably the queen peering over the bay, anticipating the arrival of fishing boats! The house was clean and accommodating for our stay! Enjoyed the daily visitation of the humming birds! Amazing! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"We stayed two nights at the cottage during Christmas. We enjoyed the cottage, nicely decorated and cozy with rustic charm. It was great that it was pet friendly. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with all communication. Would be a great spot to return to in the summer."

"The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend."

"We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!!"

"Property was quiet and welcoming, beautifully situated in a quaint area wth amazing views. The home was clean and fully stocked with the basic amenities. The games were great and the local references were excellent! Would definitely stay there again in the future!"

"Only stayed 1 of 3 nights. I filter my search with 2 bedroom min. There was only one and a sitting living room with couch conversion. Then there was the ants. Within a few min of placing food on the counter ther was over a dozen ants. We cleaned those up. And called the manager. Kudos on the quick response. But their solution was to spray ant poision on the counter then clean after it. They left us the poision and the cleaning solution fo us to repeat. A few min later ants were on the counter...

"We stayed here with our three kids, 18, 14 and 11. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy plus lots of family space too. Very quiet road but still close to all the amenities that Wolfville and Port Williams have to offer, not to mention wineries, cideries, antique stores and fun adventures to be had. Will definitely be looking to stay here again when we are next in the area."

"First let me start with Barb is an amazing host. Everything was perfect from the beginning. Barb was easy to communicate with, the house was beautiful and the spot couldn’t be more perfect. The views were beautiful, and the house was perfect from the decor to kitchen/bathroom essentials. Access to Baxter Falls is steps away from the house, towns close by. You could ask for anything more! I would highly recommend Barb and her rental to anyone travel to Nova Scotia. I would definitely book with...

Well stocked kitchen (spices, oil, coffee stuff, paper towels, cooking and grilling tools, plenty of dishes, etc.) with all the appliances, outdoor grill and dining area, large bathroom with tub/shower combo plus a clothes washer and dryer, and the TV is great! The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Great place for 4 adults to hole up as Hurricane Fiona hit Nova Scotia."

"Loved the layout of the apartment - very comfortable. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to a parking lot close by was being resurfaced and street parking was fully occupied. An exception for parking was available on the next block while the other lot was being constructed. No elevator."
