Shotgun Rye- You'll love this open concept single level home with 10ft tall ceilings, tons of natural light, chef's kitchen, 1 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, washer/dryer. Sleeps 4. Enjoy the comfort of the huge center island to eat or work at. High speed internet tested at over 300 mbps, two 55" Smart TVs. Use the concrete parking pad in the back or free street parking in the front. Ready to book for 2026 Kentucky Derby, Coming soon availability for Bourbon and Beyond, and Louder Than Life Music Festivals! We are also ready to host short term, mid-term, and long term rental guests. Digital nomads, nurses and healthcare professionals welcome!
**Please Note- We ask all guests to upload ID, e-sign our rental agreement and hold a security deposit of $300 at time of booking. Be sure to read our House Rules to make sure our listing is a good fit. Must be 21 yrs old to book.
Centrally located! We are a quick walk to several independent local restaurants , bars, and shopping. Or you could grab a cab/rideshare anywhere in Louisville in under 10 minutes.
Walkable restaurants include the Full Stop Cafe, Awry Brewery, The Fish House, The Barret Bar and Grill. Scooters have also hit the Louisville market so feel free to utilize those as well. Also close by are Big Bad Breakfast, Logan Street Market, Hammerheads, The Cafe, Paristown Food Hall, &Wiltshire Bakery, Kaiju, and everything on Bardstown Rd. Louisville is a Foodie Town!
Quick scooter or cab ride to downtown (2 miles), Churchill Downs (3.2 miles), Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (5.1 miles), University of Louisville (2.2 miles), Ky Fair/Expo Center (2.8 miles), KFC Yum Center (1.8 miles), KY International Convention Center (1.7 miles) and close neighborhoods the Highlands, Bardstown Road area, and Nulu. Beautiful home in a perfect location

What a great find this house was! Walkable to so many restaurants and shops but still a quiet peaceful home. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens and bedding were a great quality. The host communicated everything we needed to know and made all the arrangements feel seamless. Definitely highly recommend!

Great place to spend Derby weekend!

My husband, daughter and I stayed in this house and it was perfect for three people. Our daughter slept on the couch/bed and had her own bathroom while we had the bedroom en suite. Our hosts had equipped the house with everything we needed, including a bouquet of roses for the Derby! (And ponchos as it was rainy!). It was close to Churchill Downs and the Exposition Center where we could shuttle to the track. A perfect spot for three people!

Beautiful little home in a perfect location!! We absolutely loved this stay. Perfect with plenty of room for myself and 2 adult daughters. Back porch was a cute spot to watch the rain come in. Great location!! We will rent this house again!!!

A quiet, well-appointed and convenient place to stay In Louisville

We loved everything about your lovely place. Well decorated and comfortable. A well equipped kitchen. Parking we could count on right out front at the curb. On a side street and quiet. Close to eateries we enjoyed. Not far from downtown and other Louisville neighborhoods. Staying here was just a really great experience!

Great spot for adventuring around the area

This is a cute house in a really fun part of Louisville. The house itself is in great condition, clean, and with just enough "stuff" to make our stay enjoyable without being too much. The kitchen was stocked (tool-wise) with just enough to make cooking simple meals straight-forward. Parking was simple out back. Access to restaurants, shops, and the highway was easy. We didn't need to contact the host for anything out of the ordinary, but she was quick to get back to me when I messaged her.

Louisville Weekend Getaway

We were in Louisville for a weekend getaway. This house was perfect for us. It was adorable and exacly as pictured. We loved the location and that there were some great walkable spots close by. We would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend. Excellent location. The home was clean and all the extra touches were nice. Hand soaps, laundry detergent, extra linens. Response time from owner was great as we got to check in early. Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook meals.

Great location and great hosts!

Thank you Karen and Ken for such a wonderful stay in Louisville! We came for Derby weekend and spent most of our time at the track, but it was so nice to come back to a *clean* and updated rental to wind down from the day. The bed was very comfy and perfect for a good nights sleep!! Thank you for the timley communication and clear check-in/ check-out instructions! Lastly, the roses, rain ponchos, and derby koozies were the perfect touch for Derby weekend! The details did not go unnoticed. Thank you!! We hope to come visit again in the future!

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Great location! Kitchen, bedrooms and baths well stocked with high quality linens, toiletries etc. Everything necessary for doing laundry even! Great coffee shop right across the street. Would definitely stay here again and recommended to a friend who may be traveling to Louisville.

This little house was perfect for my NYE sleep! Me and my friend found it comfortable, warm, safe and oh so sweet! Great place to stay!

Have to say when we pulled up to it we were a little worried it was going to be not as nice just because some of the places around it were not in good condition . But once you walk in it’s like a whole different level. This place is well maintained , clean , roomy, comfortable and just a very great place to stay . We had a easy check in and check out process . It’s very close to downtown so you can easily go wherever! We recommend this place to anyone!
