"My husband took 3 family members for an elk hunt in Chama area. The home was perfect, availability and convenience for the hunt was exceptional! They had the conveniences of home…and truly appreciated the downstairs area DID NOT have televisions! They were able to visit throughout the 5 days uninterrupted by a TV! We will rent this home again."

"This place is so cute and set up with everything you need to be comfortable. We spent time at the river (7 min walk from property), Herron Lake and El Vado Reservoir. We didn’t catch any fish, unfortunately, but everywhere we went was really beautiful. Abby is an amazing host, super helpful, kind and accommodating. "

"Had a wonderful stay! Was there to ride the train with my siblings and their families. The home fit our needs perfectly. The only problem we had was the oven did not work. There was a toaster oven, but it was too small for the items we brought. We made it work! Would definitely stay again. "

"Close to train station. Secure, cozy, clean place. Good size for my family of 3. Liked the decor. The yard is shared with another building. We used the desk for homework. Bathroom was small. Soft rugs. Sadly many places to eat and shop were closed on a Saturday night."

"What a wonderful getaway. This cabin was just perfect. Comfy beds, beautiful surroundings and a very well stocked kitchen. Great fishing on the Conejos river and great walks in beautiful fall foliage. This is truly a little piece of heaven.I can't recommend this enough."

"The caboose was lovely, cozy and comfortable. There is a street light on the adjacent corner to the caboose which reflects light into the downstairs bedroom. It’s very bright in the bedroom at night which did affect sleep. A blackout shade perhaps? Otherwise we loved our stay!"

"If you are planning to stay in Chama and are riding the train, this is the place for you. Staying in this train engine tiny home met and exceeded our expectations. The unit is very new and maintained with the guests in mind. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our overall stay. And on another note is the outstanding awesomeness of our hosts. The communication was above and beyond. Well done. You will not be disappointed in staying at Chama Crossing. "

"The property had a beautiful overall feeling and quality (i.e. cabin, views, everything you ever needed away from home was supplied, but especially the 2nd floor patio. It had warmth and a spectacular view. We watched the fog come in over the mountains. It was a sight. Thank you."

"Enjoyed staying at the Buffalo Run cabin. Access to Chama and the Cumbres train depot is less than 10 minutes. Clean. Saw several deer around the cabin area in early mornings. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need. General things like salt, pepper spices and pan spray ,/ olive oil were available for use. The host allowed us to stay an extra day added on to our original dates. Host was very responsive to any text or calls we made for things we may have wanted to know. ...

"We absolutely loved this home that had something for everyone. Our kids fished, played pool, and ping pong. When the day was over, the comfortable beds were waiting for us. The property manager was helpful and responded quickly to all of my questions. Overall a really great experience. "

"This is a very nice house. Certainly one of the most attractive in Chama. The owner has added individual air conditioning for each room which is a big improvement from our stay last year. Individual room heaters were also made available to us which were useful in late October as well. The location could not be better. Convenient to restaurants shopping and, of course, the train."
