This listing should not be up. The past negative reviews are not exaggerating. I’m not exaggerating. I checked in for literally five minutes. The entire place smelled awful and gave me eerie, uncomfortable vibes. I was hoping my experience would be different from others' — it wasn’t.After checking in, the parking garage didn’t work. I immediately contacted the host, and they so readily told me to just park somewhere else and walk to the unit and that they’d cover parking fees. I have issues walking. That response was extremely inconsiderate and very dismissive. It also became clear they already knew there were issues with the parking garage and the AC and just didn’t bother to fix them, knowing guests were arriving. That’s unacceptable. I left ASAP and booked elsewhere.Also, don’t be fooled by the photos. They only show the inside — they don’t reflect the unsettling vibe of the area, the dark alleys, or the run-down feel of the surroundings. Most importantly, THE SMELL. It legit smelled indescribably foul. Everywhere. The elevators and especially in the actual unit. It felt unsafe. It was genuinely concerning. I wanted to leave right away, so I couldn't take photos myself. This host should not be allowed to host. There was no responsibility taken, no real effort to make things right or prepare, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.Future guests: please listen to the past reviews. Stay far away from this place. Just don’t book it. It should not be up.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

We checked in, the elevator smelled like urine and the overall look of the place outside and in was run down. We dropped our luggage off and went to grab dinner. Upon returning in the early afternoon we had a stranger knocking on the door. No peephole to see who was consistently knocking or a deadbolt on the door. The air conditioner was blowing warm air and there were bugs in the shower, on the floors and on the paper towel in the kitchen. We stayed less than 20 minutes and ended up booking another hotel for our stay. We contacted the property manager about the condition of the place, asked for a refund, but were refused. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE YOU WILL END UP FINDING ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY DUE TO THE CONDITIONS!!

When I arrived at the property, the parking that I was guaranteed was not available. we could not get into the garage. Every time I try to get a hold of somebody nobody came over to help. We found out it was a bad garage door opener. All the hose said was we’ll fix it for the next person not for me. My granddaughter got locked into the bathroom because the door knob came off. There was a cockroach in the kitchen. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. We lost power in the unit and could not get ready for a wedding we came down for. I would not suggest renting this place to anyone. I only spent one night there and had to check into a hotel. I asked for some kind of a credit and haven’t heard from them yet. This is the worst VRBO I have ever experienced.

Felt so unsafe that we didn’t end up staying. Walked in for 5 minutes and my daughter got locked in the bathroom because the door knob fell off. The apartment was clean but someone left a mess in the toilet and didn’t flush. Our standard size F250 did not fit under the garage door nor the assigned parking spot.

Travel Oasis - Don't ever book at a property managed or hosted by them.

Upon entering the property we went into the kitchen where we found live cockroaches scurrying across the countertops, walls and floor. We managed to get a couple of pictures and then phoned the host - Travel Oasis. They said they would send someone to clean the bugs up in the morning....really? Totally unacceptable, we locked the door, secured the keys and left the property. We called Travel Oasis to advise we were leaving and to ask for a refund. They have flat out refused to refund our . Their customer service is none existent.

Terrible experience

Horrible time checking in, followed instructions but there was no key in mentioned lockbox. Host company had horrible communication, sending invalid video links for checking in. Apartment building itself was run-down and in a rough location. Ended up not staying here. Do not recommend.

Long Beach Stay

The check in instructions need to be updated and maybe photos sent to clarify location of the garage and location of the lockbox the morning of Check-in. My biggest complaint is they wouldn't call when we were desperately trying to figure out how to get in the unit, despite my request for a call. They did text pictures once we contacted them, which helped immensely! Overall, a decent stay.

Pictures misleading, for me anyway. Perhaps my standards are higher than others. Thank God there were two men in our group. Sketchy area, complex very run down, no walking distance to anything, two fights nearby in the middle of the night. Check in was a complete nightmare. Never again.

Sketchy from the start, this is a Motel 6 kind of property. Filthy floors, crappy decor, lots patched poorly. The owner lies to appease, and does not address the problem. Spent too many hours trying to rectify with no result. Stay anywhere else but here.

Loved our stay

We enjoyed our stay in this 2 bed, 2 bath, with garage in Long Beach. We are a mom and adult daughter visiting for 4 nights. This was perfect for each of us to have our own bedroom and bathroom, was much less expensive than a hotel, and we were so happy to have garage parking. If you know Long Beach, parking can be an issue, so it was wonderful not to have to worry about parking, especially at night. We were close to the activities we were interested in and the location was great!Our host gave extremely clear directions for accessimg the apartment and garage and was very helpful. We didn't cook there, but you could if you wanted to!I recommend this property!
