Set in a secluded forest on a dramatic waterfront bluff, this home offers plenty of privacy just walking distance from the ferry. With high-end vintage furniture, heated floors, an indoor/outdoor sound system, fast internet, two bedrooms, and a private den with an additional queen bed, Haven at Hilltop will provide you with all the comforts of home, and you'll love the panoramic water and landscape views available through the home's massive windows. Savor your morning coffee while watching ferries and eagles passing by, and be sure to take some time to catch the sunsets dropping below the San Juan Islands each evening.



    When mealtimes come around, the fabulous full kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, an adorable farmhouse sink, ample cookware, and plenty of room for multiple cooks to help out with tasty recipes. Not to mention, you can open the window leading to the outdoor bar area to let everyone meander inside and out while still being a part of the conversation! The yard is a dreamy oasis for family cookouts with ample seating, a gas grill, uninterrupted views of the Salish Sea, and even a firepit for toasting S'mores. There is no better way to end a dreamy day than to follow up a good game of cards with a soak in the private hot tub under the colors of the sunset!

Bespoke home with amazing views!

This lovely home was exactly the relaxing get away that we needed. NOTHING in this home is ‘building grade’ - high end touches everywhere. We especially loved the accordion windows and doors that made the indoor and outdoor space one. The views are amazing, kitchen was well stocked (needs foil), beds were cozy, inside was very clean. It was about 1/2 mile from the ferry, which was very nice to walk down in the morning and watch the cars/bikes unload and load. One word of caution, this house is located on a steep cliff; as such, I would not recommend guests with small children to rent this property.

This place was perfect for our quiet Lopez Island getaway! The location and views were spectacular. The house had everything we needed and was very nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again!

Truly exceptional property. Well stocked kitchen, speakers wired throughout the house and deck and very comfortable beds. We were amazed by the sunset views with the ferries lit up in the evening - never turned on the television the entire stay! Wonderful place for a family getaway!

Hilltop Haven

The home was beautiful and the kitchen was by far the best stocked of any rental we have stayed in. The outdoor living space is unmatched and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the patio, hottub and at the firepit. Location close to the ferry made it possible for us to wait out the line in comfort and walk back and forth to our car.

Exceptional Vacation

Our stay was fantastic! It’s a beautiful and relaxing home set against the trees and the Sound, genuinely hope to come back! Lopez Island is the best, miss it already! Also, really outstanding kitchen if you like to cook. The induction range is very cool!

Very nice stay

This was a lovely house in a great location. We especially liked the outdoor shower, hot tub, fire pit, and house layout. The views were fantastic. The only downside was the lack of shades in the primary bedroom.

The home is beautiful. The owners have great attention to detail throughout the property. The kitchen is fully stocked like a home, not a vacation rental. The location and views made for a relaxing, serene vacation. We would definitely book the property again!

Peaceful and Gorgeous!

This was the perfect winter getaway! The home is exquisite and well-appointed and the VIEWS are stunning! Lopez in the winter is quiet and slow. An antidote to Seattle insanity that was much needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

That view!!

We booked this house as a sibling and spouses getaway and were so pleased with the choice. Walls of windows open to the deck to take in the view. Beautiful sunsets with the ferries going by. A well stocked kitchen and a sound system throughout the entire house. We had wildlife visit every day and even saw a pod of orcas at the ferry dock. This place was a truly relaxing and beautiful place to unwind!

Absolutely Fabulous!

The thought and detail that went into this home is only surpassed by the views and location. What a great place to eacape to! The peace and calm is present in every corner. Being able to stay in and cook was a gift, the kitchen is stocked beautifully! Contrarulations on creating a very special place!.
