  • Perfecto para familias, este alquiler de vacaciones cuenta con televisores de pantalla plana en cada habitación, muebles finos y todo lo que necesita para pasar unas vacaciones increíbles.
    Las camas nuevas se entregaron en junio de 2017. Hay literas nuevas en el segundo dormitorio con colchones nuevos y un colchón nuevo y somier también en el dormitorio principal. Pintoresco, tranquilo, y la calidad de un resort boutique, no la molestia, el ruido, la naturaleza impersonal de un hotel. Se convertirá en parte de nuestra familia de Sand Cay, y esperamos su regreso año tras año.

Perfect getaway!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived the staff were so kind and helpful! We got right to our condo and settled in. The beach was beautiful and the pool was relaxing! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and have some family time. We will definitely be back! Thank you all so much who work there!

Beautiful quiet beach vacay

Perfect condo for a family of 4!

The location is great, right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was super easy. Condo was well equipped and clean. Nice king bed in master and a bunk bed with a pull out trundle bed below so you 3 beds total in second bedroom. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Long Boat Key.

Great getaway

Very fun property with plenty to do for the family. Enjoyed the pool, tennis, shuffleboard and grilling on the property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool can be loud at times especially with young adults or families nearby but generally clears out by diner. Beach area was beautiful with plenty of chairs and room to spread out. Very quiet on the beach all week and not crowded during the weekend. I would recommend.

It had every detail you could think of to help ease cooking at the home, sleeping comfortably and close to the beach. Only issue was that there was a large amount of ghost ants all over the kitchen. We are local and know the ants, but it was excessive to where even with no food out they would swarm. Hopefully that can be remedied because otherwise the stay was wonderful.

Very nice property. The furniture could use being replaced. All of the mattresses are a little saggy. We tried using the sofa bed but the springs in the mattress were poking you when you laid down.

Our unit 208 needs an upgrade, the carpets are very dirty and also in need of saucepans, only one very large and one very small were there. The floors were sticky. The bed could do with a mattress pad as all the ridges on the mattress could be felt.

The floors were absolutely filthy and my child’s feet were black within minutes of being there. We all had to keep our shoes on the entire time. I don’t expect them to be perfect, but compared to other units I’ve stayed in previously, this one could use some work.

Disappointed and tired

Well the condo itself was nice and the surroundings were very good. The proximity to the beach was great. The beds were terrible. You cannot enjoy a vacation when you don’t have enough sleep. We called to let the desk know that the bed was terrible and asked if we could get a pillow topper. They said they would ask the owner but never got back to us. We thought about leaving early but we really wanted to spend time with family. So my husband and I slept sideways on the bed to make it tolerable. My daughter and her daughter slept in the other room. My daughter only stayed one night because she said the bed was so uncomfortable in the second bedroom. I would not recommend anybody stay in 208. It was disappointing to have such uncomfortable beds. Most important part of a vacation is getting good sleep. We did not. While everything else was really quite good it’s hard to rate high when you’re sleep deprived and wake up all achy .

Beautiful Place Makes for Great Family Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Sand Cay Resort during our recent stay in August/September of 2022. We stayed at unit #208 which provided beautiful garden/pool view along with glimpse of the gulf from the balcony. We are a family of four and the unit accommodated our family with room to spare. Apartment was very roomy and clean and provided us with every amenity needed when not on the beach, at the pool or sharing a great meal at one of very many restaurants in the area. Beds were clean and comfortable (kids loved the bunk bed setup), kitchen was well equipped, there is full on cable/TV for when it rains and Wi-Fi allowed kids to connect their gadgets and let parents do their thing. The unit we stayed in truly exceeded our expectations. The private white-sand beach of the gulf with plenty of room to spare was absolutely great – no need to bump elbows with crowds. We loved the pool and kids stayed into the night swimming and playing shuffle board. Without reservations, we can highly recommend Unit #208 at The Sand Cay Resort which we had pleasure of staying in. We will most certainly return to explore the area and some of the nicest beaches in the US. Thanks for having us!
