Beach Front Condo That Has It All
Wonderful ground floor unit – walk right to the beach – no steps to deal with! Very private patio that makes you feel like you’re in your own backyard. Bright and well decorated, you will love this updated unit. Comfortably sleeps 6, with one king, two full, and a pull out couch.

• Wash and dryer in unit (only available in first floor units)
• Flat screen TVs in living room and bedrooms
• Very well stocked kitchen (check our reviews)
• Bedrooms are “extended” – this is special, as it adds 60sf in both bedrooms and only a few units are “extended”

The Sand Cay Beach Resort is a quaint and quiet resort ideally located “mid-Key”, close to lots of shops, restaurants, activities and museums. In addition to the beautiful beach, Sand Cay has all the amenities a beach lover would seek…heated pool, shuffleboard, tennis/pickleball court, large outdoor barbeque grills to name a few. The buildings are maintained to a high standard, and we are pleased to have staff on-site seven days/week to assist you with any needs.
Sand Cay is just a few miles from Mote Aquarium, St. Armand’s Circle, and the popular Bridge Street area in nearby Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island. Boat and bike rentals, kayak tours, parasailing, golf, fishing and so much more are all nearby – the friendly and helpful office staff can point you in the right direction. For meals, you can pick up groceries at a new and spacious Publix just down Gulf of Mexico Drive. Or dine out at a wide array of restaurants right on the Key, including a beach bar right next door at the Zota Beach Resort. Many acclaimed restaurants are on the Key (including, Dry Dock, Shore LBK, Harry’s and Mar Vista), and an abundance in Sarasota. End your day by watching simply remarkable sunsets over the Gulf. Many renters return year after year.
Longboat Key is a safe, quiet beach community. It is a very residential community compared to most beach front areas that can be crowded, congested, and noisy. Longboat is perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The beaches in this area rate as tops in the nation by numerous publications and our beach is no exception.

Great property in a great location

We loved our stay in this well-appointed condo just steps away from the beach. We were able to watch sunsets from the table & take advantage of the great local restaurants and attractions - the aquarium was a huge hit with our kids. Overall this condo has a relaxed beachy vibe and is perfect for a low-key getaway on one of our favorite spots to visit.

Wonderful trip to LBK

A beautiful condo, clean with a well stocked kitchen. Nice patio and ocean view. Beach chairs, towels, floats provided. Laundry was a bonus.

Our Favorite Unit Yet

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to several Sand Cay units and this unit was the best yet. It is very spacious and fit all 5 of us. Not only is each room expanded with a King in the master and two doubles in the second, but there is also a pull-out couch in the living room. Our growing family has been pretty tight in other units. Plus, the unit was upgraded and open, which was very nice. And the patio is very private so if you have louder, messier kids like we do, that's always helpful. And very close to the parking lot, which is also helpful for unloading the 20k trips to Publix. But, don't spread the word too much because we will definitely be renting this unit again and I don't want it to be too booked up! ;-)

We loved this condo. It was just lovely. It was decorated very tastefully and had all kinds of starter items available. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The available beach items were a real plus. We’ve stayed at Sand Cay before but this unit is just so nice. We had our 9 and 6 year old grandsons with us so the first floor was very nice. We could leave boogie boards, skim boards, sand shoes, etc right on the lanai. Also we were able to avoid the prickly balls that fall from the trees at the main beach entrance - that was a real plus! Great condo and we will certainly stay again.
