Beachfront 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath townhouse condo in the center of beautiful Longboat Key, an island just a few miles north of Sarasota. LaPlaya Condominiums provides a private beach, sheltered pool with sundeck, and beachfront grills so you won’t miss a minute of the sunset. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen plus washer and dryer. All linens and beach towels are provided. Welcome to our island-style living.

This spacious end unit is bright and breezy with new décor and totally renovated kitchen and baths featuring sparkling granite and tile. The open floor plan provides sweeping views of the beach and gulf from the kitchen to the living and dining area, and on to the private porch and steps leading to the beach. The en suite bedroom on the first level has twin beds, as does the guest bedroom on the second level. All bedrooms are carpeted. The master bedroom on the 2nd level has floor-to-ceiling windows, and sliders to a sundeck overlooking the beach.

We had a wonderful time again this year! The property is well maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We felt we had the beach to ourselves and had a different sunset experience every night! We’re already talking about next year.

Absolutely Perfect !

The place was beautiful and just how it was advertised. Location was amazing. We have always gone to Siesta Key but this place has won us over! Can’t wait to go back !

Horrible experience and Stay !! Beware !

The property is dated and needs a lot of updates. It started with the reception where they directed me to the wrong room and the conversation was very stand offish, very unwelcome. The rooms were neat and clean but dated. On Saturday there was construction in the neighboring apartment as they were breaking the floor and all day long there was hammering sound that was loud and gave us all a headache. I asked the person to give it a break for 2 hours during the afternoon and they were rude and told me to speak with management. I left management a voicemail and nothing - no response. In the evening the AC stopped working at 6 pm. I called maintenance and they wouldnt come without a call from management. I called management twice that night and no response. the inside temp of the house for 83 and it was miserable. I called VRBO who called the owner and they said she would call me and send someone to fix this. No calls !! No response !! No one came !! even on the next day when we left at 10.00 am. This is not the way to run a property and there has to be accountability for this. At least a courtesy call from them stating when they can get things fixed. Nothing !! I even sent an email. No response till date. VRBO should de list this property. Just having a property on the beach is not enough. They have to manage this properly. I dont think it is too much to ask that we have a comfortable stay with peace and quiet and a working AC.
