The lodging was okay. But absolutely nobody in the entire hotel knew how to do anything except b charming.
Every single thing the concierge told us was absolutely in error and sent us on unnecessary wild goose chases in the cold… because he didn’t even know the basic services available nearby… currency exchanges around the corner, but he sent us a quarter mile away to someplace that HE recommended instead of a nearby one with exactly the same rates. He put us on a a tour bus that was supposed to leave every 20-30 minutes, hop on & off… 2 hours later we were still waiting for his branded tour bus to arrive and when it did, it was packed like sardines and nobody got off. It was pathetic.
The dining room was poorly managed and the service chaotic. It required a half hour & 3 separate tries just to get an expresso with hot milk… And we paid $40/day for the breakfast service. They have a long learning curve to achieve before they should be accepting guests.
