This place was sooooo cute. Loved staying here. The rooms are a great size and the bathroom is very large. It was in a great spot to catch the bus or just walk to where you need to be. Would stay here again for sure!

The property is very charming, clean, and surprisingly quiet considering being located in a busy area. The room and bathroom are more spacious than they appear in the online pictures and very cozy. Snacks,water, and tea/coffee in the room were a nice touch. They’ve thought of everything to make the stay easy and hassle free. Lastly the staff is great and good in the downstair bar is delicious.

Lovely stay, rooms were huge and bathroom was immaculate. Gorgeous area with so many great places to eat. We weren't disturbed by any noise (but we did stay on a Monday night so it was quiet). Would definitely stay here again

Great location! Staff were great and check in was so nice! Really appreciated the ice cold drink on check in and so nice of them to carry our heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs for us! So friendly and thoughtful! Great location and great room with A/C and everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Our room was clean and spacious and the complimentary refreshments were high quality. The pub staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Super bien situé et très cosy. Juste ce qu’il faut de charme britannique. La rue et le pub en-dessous pas bruyants (même un samedi soir).

Very well appointed room, nicely decorated, high ceilings, and wonderful air conditioning which was appreciated during a heat wave. Spacious bathroom, blackout window coverings, and even ear plugs if you are sensitive to street noise. Complementary snacks, tea, coffee and water. Special thanks to Tina for making it a great stay. We highly recommend the Clerk and Well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in London at the Clerk & Well. We loved the quaint little neighborhood and everything was walkable or easily accessible by the Underground. We happened to be there during the World Cuo and Tina and team made sure we had a great table and plenty of beverages to enjoy while England won! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Clerk and Well We arrived at bit early and our room wasn't ready. So we had a drink in the bar and were then shown to our beautiful room. Our luggage was taken up for us. The room was spacious and very clean. There were complimentary snacks and water, usb sockets next to the bed on both sides, a espresso machine,

Very interesting staying above the pub. It's more of a restaurant so it wasn't noisy. Food was excellent!! Staff is very accommodating. Room was spacious and clean. The one area where there is a chair and small side table was very dark at night. Needs a floor lamp. Bathroom is very big and looked newly remodeled. The tub/shower is difficult to get in and out of due to the height of the tub. Maybe a handle of some type. The stairs are narrow and spiral and the stairs leading to the door out to the street are steep. Just advice for older travelers. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the Farringdon transit station which services trains and the tube. there are also other local places right there to eat should you choose. All in all it was a very good experience!

We stayed two nights at the Clerk & Wells. The staff was so helpful when we needed to have our luggage held and when we asked for local food recommendations. The room was adorable, nicely appointed and very quiet.

One of the best hotel stays ever in London. The room was air conditioned (I was worried because it was a pub it wouldn’t be). The pub closed at 11pm so there were no disturbances and room and bathroom was very spaces and beautifully decorated. The only reason for cleanliness I left a 4/5 is because there was someone else’s old knickers hanging on the the back of the door. I also gave 4/5 for the amenities because the body wash and body lotion had run out. Otherwise great place and we even got complimentary drinks! Thank you

We were a party with three rooms over several days during the heatwave. We cannot thank the C&W staff enough; they were friendly, accommodating and listened. One of our rooms had issues with the air conditioning which could not be fixed during our stay, but they pre-emptively arranged an alternate room in a sister venue. Thoughtful and friendly team and the rooms (bar the ac issue) were comfortable and larger than many in this part of London.

The room was smaller, but well appointed and more than enough for two people. The room was spotlessly cleaned when we arrived and cleaned every single day that we were there. Staff were kind enough to carry our bags up the stairs. The best part is being able to step outside and you are about a 5 to 7 minute walk from Farringdon station which can get you basically anywhere in the city. And you’re right next-door to a pub with plenty of options for food and drink. The perfect spot to stay in London and half the price of a hotel. Quaint charming and just something different with great service. Highly recommend.
