Fire Safety - No smoking indoors (including vapes) or in the courtyard. - No open flames—this includes candles, fireworks, or lanterns. - Do not cover electric radiators—use the provided airer for drying clothes. - Keep communal areas clear—these are emergency exits. - EV charging (including e-bikes/scooters) from domestic sockets is not allowed.
4. Cleanliness - Remove outdoor shoes inside the apartment. - Follow the online manual for rubbish disposal.
5. Pets - Pets are not allowed unless agreed in advance. - Approved pets require an extra cleaning fee. - Pets must never be left unattended. - If travelling with pets, contact us for guidance on suitable spaces.

Ideal Location and Very Quiet
The apartment is in a very quiet and safe location. It is steps from the Paddington Train station so it's a great base for taking the trains and tube. Wonderful restaurants and shops along the area too. The canal district is a few years away too. Apartment is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen has the basics. Washer and dryer available.

Amazing Location in Paddington
This property is steps from the Paddington train/metro station. Using the Heathrow Express got us from the airport to this flat in about 20 minutes! The street is lovely and very quiet. Even with the windows open all night, there were no disturbances.This flat is a quick walk to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. Walk to Notting Hill and enjoy the Portobello Road Markets.The space was great for our family of 4. There is 1 full bath and one powder room (sink and toilet). There is a Nespresso coffee machine that uses the larger pucks. Bart was super responsive and even brought us extra fans during our VERY hot stay. Air circulation was an issue on those hot, sunny days in London which I hear are few and far between.

What a fabulous location
The flat fit our needs exactly. So close to Paddington Station, but yet soooo quiet! The ground floor flat tended to be a little stuffy, and it was a challenge to get any good air flow to cool it down at all. There were fans available, and we did put those to use. The kitchen was well stocked, although we couldn't figure out how to use the oven, as it was missing a button. I'm sure that issue was us, just not familiar with a UK oven. Check in was fairly easy, but could be a challenge for people who aren't "techy". Overall, we had a good stay.

Overall a positive stayPositives: apt is stocked with everything you need such hand soap, body wash, shampoo, paper towels and dish soap/sponge, kitchen cooking/ serving items and appliances; close to Paddington station which has several Tube lines; safety was taken into account with hallway markers on steps; able to control temp; beautiful neighborhood; overall clean; Washer/dryer was the best and they provide detergent!; easy check in and out.Negatives: Mattresses were so hard that our backs ached every morning; need some fixing such as mirrors on closets/lamp which are cracked but taped up for safety; towel hook in 1/2 bath broken; window in full bathroom cannot close but there is a window guard so no one can come in; the flat is in the basement - go down steps to enter. The area where the front door could be spruced up. But they did try to make it safer to walk down narrow steps; We had trouble with door locks and hard to turn the door lock to open door. Would be nice to have a different lock and doorknob to open the door.

Insanely convenient, scrupulously clean, safe, and quiet
I'm not sure if it shows up in the VRBO listing, but this is SO close to Paddington. Seriously, you could leave out the east entrance and practically trip into the flat. But the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe; even though we were in the basement, we kept the windows open in our bedroom overnight with no concern, and no rude awakenings. Another green flag: EXTREMELY clean. I'm a bit of a neat freak, and I was immediately struck by how well-tidied the flat was and how spotless the linens were. It IS a historic property, so if you've never been in one, you should plan to give a small amount of grace to the steps down into the flat and in the layout (third compliment: they did so well with the small space they had, storage for DAYS), but the appliances are modern and work well. And the flat was provisioned well, no hodgepodge of thrift store cutlery here. French press and a nice kettle, plus a full complement of dishes and cooking supplies. Communication was prompt and helpful, the CSR team is ace. This was a great stay!
