Good size room, nice and bright. Attractive building, some care with furniture and decoration. Small desk, adequate, good size bathroom. Wifi works. Usually none around, narrow stairs. Would make a big difference and make it much more welcoming to have a few more pillows on the bed, and maybe a bedspread?

This is an old property, and the age shows. Room was steaming hot with no apparent way to lower the temperature. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Bedsheet was too small, even for the twin beds, and needed constant refitting. This hotel was picked as it was economical for the area of London, however it would best be described as a hostel in other locations.

They cleaned my room every day. There was no sign on the door handle to choose whether I wanted the room to be cleaned or not. After cleaning, the door was left slightly open. My room was on the ground floor, so anyone could have entered easily. Also, the tap in the room did not work properly.

床のタイルや内装はアンティークで素敵でしたが階段が急で荷物を運ぶのが大変、その上、お湯がでないことを隠して説明せずに先払いにさせたい事に怒りを感じました。古い建物の故障はしかたがありませんが、始めに説明するべきではないでしょうか。

The hotel is very small, nothing to write home about except for the service. The staff was wonderful. They treated us so beautifully with great respect and because my partner had a bad hip, they moved us from the top floor to an upgraded room on the second floor. They were extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. If you’re expecting something fantastic this is not your spot if you just want a very reasonable boutique hotel in a superb area. This is your spot if you’re fussy don’t go here if you just wanna come home relax put your feet up and go to sleep. It’s perfect. Nothing above and beyond, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay no judgement thank you again to the beautiful staff.

The room we stayed in was poor. The bathroom was dirty, full of mould and the toilet was hanging off the wall. The bath panel was cracked and there was dirty carpet on the floor by the toilet that smelt of urine. The room was covered in dust. Paint flaking off the walls and ceiling. The fridge was filthy and smelt terrible. When I bought these issues so with staff they blamed the cleaner. The room was not clean but also not maintained. Terrible stay.

Opulent, no

Opulent no. Our room was on the top, fourth floor, and the card key did not work. We were out until 8pm so at the desks we were assured that we would get a new key on our return, which was true but it failed to work on the following day. Lady at reception told us that her master key was at home and husband was bringing it in, 30-40 minutes. Not good enough as we were looking to grab our luggage and go sightseeing, which had to be cancelled. The room was small and a bit tired to say the least. The cold tap did not work and I was scared to undo as it was going to come off. The shower head in the bath leaked from everywhere and was therefore a bit lacking in pressure. The larger of the fans in the room did not work and as there was no air-con, this made it uncomfortable on a night at 18c. Fortunately the bed was comfy and I slept pretty well. Altogether a very bad experience but wanted to try an independent hotel for a change. Sadly, we will be going back to Premiers and Hiltons from now on.

Only staff member was high the whole time. Windows were so useless at keeping out noise there may as well have been none. Floor wonky. Bathroom tiles sharp. Mattress filthy. All round hell hole.

I didnt see any problem about the people who work in the reception esp at night, seems not safe, but i git safe actually. About cleanliness, they to improve it, the room that i got were not so presentable, i did booked the cheapest one, but doesnt to be so dirty becoz of the price. The walls, the doorknobs, i dont actually feel stepping on the floor, but i dont have a choice. Hope they improve it. Good thing its near the center, easy access actually.
