Sketchy Experience

Despite me getting back to their email straight away, they did not confirm the check in time (you have to meet someone at the property) until the day before and that was after many ignored messages and calls. They asked for a £250 deposit on a 1 night stay that a week later is yet to be returned (there is no argument that the property was left in exactly the condition it was found). The shower was broken and there was no hot water. They asked for extra money on leaving for an "extra linen" charge. The place is well located, and if done properly has the potential to be nice. However I would strongly recommend you do not deal with these people.

Disappointing stay - do not stay here

Terrible stay. Whilst I was allowed to leave my bags in early, and told to arrive at 11, I waited almost an hour for a member of staff to let me into the property. The apartment is in quite a bit of disrepair. Kitchen sink is damaged, oven door is broken off the hinges, and the blinds in the bedroom were broken, with just a towel hung up attempting to cover a ground floor window, but leaving a large gap where you could see into a small courtyard. In the morning, I woke up to painters and decorators outside my window who could blatantly see me lying in bed by myself. As a solo female traveller, this is totally unsafe. I had to leave after one night instead of the planned two, and seek alternative accommodation, as I felt very vulnerable in that room. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

I would strongly discourage anyone from booking with this host, as you could lose your money like I did. I booked a two-night stay at this apartment and, upon arrival, called the number provided to obtain the access details. Unfortunately, nobody answered. I spent several hours outside the property repeatedly calling and received no response whatsoever. With no way to access the apartment I had paid for, I was eventually forced to find and pay for alternative accommodation. I raised the issue with Expedia, explaining that I had been unable to access or use the property due to the host's lack of communication. Despite this, the host refused to provide a refund, even though they were aware that I had never been given access to the apartment. As a result, I lost approximately a significant sum for accommodation I was unable to use. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid booking with this host.

Arrived after 2pm, no one to check me in. Luckily there was a gardener working at back who helped me contact them on his phone. Without his help I would have been stranded outside for who knows how long. Was told they had tried to contact me on my landline and by e mail earlier, which was no good as I had left home at 8am. Had to wait 30 mins for key to arrive, then told they wanted a £400 security deposit or my booking would be cancelled and payment forfeited. Heating was on when I finally got in flat but did not come on when I returned later nor next morning, plus had to go without a shower as water stayed freezing. At nearly £100 for one night I could have done better in a hostel for less than haf the price. Never again!

Absolutely Awful

The property has sockets hanging off the wall, chewing gum on the light stand, a bolt lock on the front door for security that wasn't secure, windows that had notes on telling you not to shut them, mould on the radiator, shower light that did not work, black marks all over the walls. Also tried to demand a deposit on arrival, did not stay in this accommodation, left and stayed elsewhere

Lovely Apartment

A brilliant little apartment with nice facilities. Only a short walk from the O2 Academy Brixton, so perfect if you're going to a gig.

We're told check it was at 2.00 and nobody turned up to let in until 6.30. Then was told I had to pay another £200 deposit which I would get back the following morning if the apartment was left in good condition. We left it spotless and I still havnt received my money back.. It is now three days later

Very well treated

Very freiny great location especially if your seeing a show in Brixton academy close to train station everything you would need is provided greeted with a warm welcome and cases carried for us would defiantly recomend
