La Doccia is a spacious house in natural stone. It sleeps 8 people and is located 5 km from the village of Londa. The nearest airport is A. Vespucci (Florence, 40 km). Station at 8km. The car is necessary. The height above sea level is 500m and the distance from the main road is only 30m. The main road is paved but very quiet and with little traffic.
The shower has been recently restored. The house is furnished with love and taste, the floors are in stone and terracotta, all the ceilings are with wooden beams. It is surrounded by 70 olive trees. The view is beautiful and the view over the woods is restful. The house has very thick stone walls so it stays cool in summer. In winter it is heated with a nice ceramic wood stove and two fireplaces, electric heaters. On the ground floor you enter a large living room with 3 tables, 3-seater sofa, two armchairs and a large stone fireplace, a bathroom with shower and kitchen with fridge, electric oven, 5-burner hob, dishwasher and washing machine and exit on the garden. A stone staircase leads to the upper floor where the second bathroom is located, a characteristic small living room with a wood stove. From this pleasant room you enter the bedrooms and with 4 stone steps to a large hall obtained from the old barn. Here, heated by a nice fireplace, you can enjoy hours of relaxation, listening to music and in the company of friends. The living room is on two levels, has a ceiling with exposed beams, stone walls and is illuminated by 3 large windows from which you can enjoy a restful view of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The 4 rooms are located on the 1st floor and have the names given by the guests:
-Green room: 1 double bed (sleeps 2)
-Room of POETS: 1 double bed (sleeps 2)
- "PENSATOIO" room: 1 double bed (sleeps 2). From this room you enter the "PENSATOIO" a delightful corner full of books and memories that overlooks the stone staircase.
-Room with GREEN TOILET: 1 double bed (sleeps 2) and a nice old-time green iron toilet
In front of the house you can relax on deck chairs or in a hammock. The walks that can be done starting from the house are also very pleasant. You can decide whether to enjoy nature, or walk, but also to visit the artistic beauties of the surroundings and the city of Florence.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
Deposit: € 250 in Euro. They will be returned at the end of the stay if the house is returned in order and without damage.
Bed and bath linen rental: € 10 per person.
Pets: 30 € per stay and pet
