"Staff at breakfast all seemed subdued and only very few interacted with guests.
The choice of breakfast was minimal. In comparison with other hotels it was just about acceptable. Some of the seats were uncomfortable due to ware and tear. Ended up sitting on the frame rather than the leather clad seat cushion. The hallways were very dark and the room itself did not have adequate central lighting. The shower was a weak waterfall style shower with out a hose for extra use.

"Great location. Stayed in room 1, bed was extremely comfortable, great powerful shower. Room was spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Well stocked bar.
Would highly recommend."

"The Ramada at Charnock Richard was surprisingly good. The room was fine, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and meals in the dining area were good. And it wasn't expensive by today's standards. Really this is as good as it gets in budget accommodation."

"This Race Course branch of the Chain does everything it says on the tin. Helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast choice.
Having to fork out for parking is unwelcoming. Outside of race days whats the point.... a few miles down the road the member of the chain doesn't charge. So I go there next time. Otherwise no beefs."

You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. "Nice place but the shower had many spots of black colored mold. The rest of the bathroom was clean and spacious. The bottom of the shower door, the corners of the shower, the caulk around the soap holder and some grout around the tiles had mold. It was so bad that I took pictures. I only know this about the one room I booked for the night.
The hotel building was fine and the theme and names of rooms was fun."
