"Nice clean, cozy cabin setting with plenty of room for our group of six. Nice property for a short morning walk. Great location to access the attractions in the central and eastern UP. Excellent communication with the owner. Was very accommodating with rescheduling our trip. Definitely on our list for a return trip."

"We stayed with a group of five, including two kids (3 and 7). The cabin was clean, had all the amenities needed to keep kids and adults entertained and fed. Being centrally located was a big plus. I fully expect we will return next year."

"This is our second time staying at this property. We love the size of the home and 2 bathrooms! I have teenagers so it’s enough space for Us all to relax after a busy day of hiking and seeing the sites. The host is always easy to communicate with. The Jolly Inn is always a treat for dinner. One great thing about this home is it’s location. It’s in the middle of everything to see this side of the UP. "My wife, two Labradors and I had a wonderful stay at the Stone House. The location was convenient to many local attractions. The house exceeded our expectations! Plenty of room, decent WIFI, AC for the hot days. There were water toys for the lake. Our dogs loved swimming in the lake each day and taking walks. It's difficult to find a rental that will allow two larger dogs and we are grateful to have found this place. We will happily return to Stone House for another visit."

"This little cabin was fantastic, even for just a couple. Every detail was perfect. Anything one could need was right there in the cabin- making things so easy and stress free. The lake was beautiful, from sunrise to sunset. It was so nice to be truely alone, like stepping back in time. We relaxed, read books, had bonfires, star gazed, and BBQed! It was really such a perfect family place- we felt guilty leaving the kids with grandma for our anniversary trip. We will be back and will be bringing...

"My family and I stayed in the Peanut Gallery in mid July. Although the weather was rainy, that did not stop us from enjoying our time in this lovely, well appointed home. Close to attractions and miles and miles of trails to ride our four wheelers on. I highly recommend Peanut Gallery if you are looking for a comfortable and extremely picturesque place to stay while you explore the wild U.P."

It's just a portable unit that is probably capable of dealing with room less than half the size of the property. "The cabin is exactly what a few guys coming up to explore and enjoy the UP would want/need. It has enough cooking gear to prepare anything you want, and a great view to enjoy while doing it. We enjoyed the fishing in the area and the fish shack was a welcomed amenity to cleaning the fish."
