Sandra y Eduardo te esperan con sabores portugueses al gusto, una deliciosa sangría de champán con frutas rojas para celebrar tus vacaciones. ¡Bienvenido! Se nuestro invitado!
Esta hermosa casa, construida en la década de 1930, fue completamente renovada en 2016. Es una casa de diseño con un interior nuevo, pero con todo el encanto de una casa tradicional portuguesa. Cada detalle ha sido hecho con AMOR. Se encuentra en el bosque de pinos de Banzão-Colares (Sintra), en una zona muy privada y segura, rodeada por la belleza del bosque de Sintra. Maravillosas playas y muchos sitios históricos están muy cerca. Puedes caminar o andar en bicicleta en la playa.
Esta casa de dos pisos tiene capacidad para 11 huéspedes con todas las comodidades. El primer piso tiene dos dormitorios y dos baños. El segundo piso tiene tres dormitorios más y dos baños. Hay tres cunas o camas para niños disponibles bajo petición. Hay dos salas de estar (una con televisión inteligente), un comedor y una cocina totalmente equipada.
Las puertas están abiertas a la sala de estar, con muebles de jardín, una mesa y sillas de comedor al aire libre, una cocina cerca de la barbacoa, que rodea una hermosa piscina (8 X 4 Mts) CON PROTECCIÓN DE CERCA, con 8 tumbonas + 4 sillas de jardín con toallas.
Piscina climatizada bajo petición (calefacción de la piscina: 25 EUR con cargo adicional por día). La calefacción de la piscina depende de las condiciones climáticas, normalmente posible de abril a octubre.
Tenemos un servicio adicional de alquiler de bicicletas. Es genial ir a la playa y a los restaurantes en bicicleta.
Para los niños, pero también para los adultos, tenemos una sala de juegos separada cerca del jardín con ping pong y bádminton. ¡Tenemos un parque infantil en el jardín de 16 m2 y una casa de madera que encantará a los niños!
Imagínese sentado junto a la piscina, desayunando y planeando un día emocionante explorando Sintra, las ciudades cercanas y los pueblos históricos.
¡Nuestra intención es proporcionar todo lo que necesita para experimentar lo mejor de Portugal!
Durante períodos de más de 6 días, nuestro ama de llaves limpia la casa y proporciona toallas limpias en el medio de su estadía.

TODO MARAVILLOSO

Hemos estado 4 dias y la experiencia es de 100 en todo. Los dueño un encanto. Te enseñan y explican todo a la perfección y te reciben con comida típica de alli. La casa una pasada, las habitaciones amplias con colchones y almohadas super comodas. Todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias. Papel higienico, de cocina, toallas, ...El exterior super chulo para hacer barbacoa y que los niños juegen con todo lo que tienen.Tienen bicis que se pueden utilizar para ir a la playa y hacer una mini excursion con los niños. Muchas gracias por todo, de seguro que si volvemos a esa zona, repetiremos con voaotros. Sois encantadores.Besos Elena, familia y amigos.

Inmejorable

Han sido unas vacaciones fantásticas. A la casa además de ser preciosa y comodísima no le falta detalle, tanto en menaje, electrodomésticos, juegos para los más pequeños etc. Y los propietarios, Sandra y Eduardo, son inmejorables, súper amables, nos recibieron con un tentempié y nos dieron un montón de información sobre la zona, siempre dispuestos y con una sonrisa contestaban nuestras dudas por WhatsApp al momento. A wonderful family gathering.

We chose the Barca Charm House for its location, family friendliness and wonderful reviews. Each review referred to the hospitality of our hosts and I have to agree with previous reviewers, Sandra and Eduardo were exceptional. The house is comfortable and fully equipped. There was everything you could possibly need and so much more. The only item we were unable to bring with us was a potty for our 2 year old. Sandra was immediately on the case and brought a brand new potty round which was so helpful! There is so much to see and do in the area that a week just wasn’t long enough. We left with heavy hearts. Our family are spread out over the world and time spent together is very precious. We made many happy memories in the Charm house. Thank you Sandra and Eduardo. Wishing you both health and happiness.

Wonderful Stay in Colares

It was a wonderful location and we had a great trip, especially with such wonderful and responsive hosts. The only issue we had was plumbing/ventilation of the three bedrooms downstairs could have been improved because of all the rain.

Perfect Family Holiday

I booked this villa for my wife’s surprise 60th, she wasn’t aware the rest of the family was there the day before. we are a 3 generation big family ranging from 9 months to 60 and based on the fact it had five bedrooms and 4 separate bathrooms it was perfect, when we arrived it stood up to our expectations plus more, it’s a perfect villa for big families, the pool, garden, the BBQ and outside kitchen all made it a holiday not to be forgotten. It’s central to all your needs, a day trip to Sintra, Lisbon, the local beach’s , shops and restaurants, I would recommend the fish restaurant called Bar Do Fundo at the end of the beach road of Praia Grande and watch the sun set, if you want simple food and some great beers then head off to the beach village and try AMA stone bake Pizzas A massive thank you to Sandra & Eduardo for your hospitality and arranging a traditional Portuguese birthday meal for us , the paella was out of this world😘

The perfect place to stay! Highly Recommend

We had 9 adults, children aged 7, 6,2 and newborn. The Barca Charm house was perfect for all ages! We loved the outdoor kitchen and the pool. Wonderful communication. Sandra and Eduardo had excellent communication and recommendations for our group. Their welcome Portuguese starters and Sangria were delicious as well as the meal they prepared for us. It’s an excellent location with bus stop right outside to Sintra or the beach. Ubers were cheap and came quickly too. Easy walk to Colares for groceries and brewery. We would stay here again and highly recommend! Thank you for opening your home to us

The BEST!!

The Barca Charm House was our dream come true for a 50th wedding anniversary with the whole family (12 of us). Every little thing to make your vacation special has been thought of - we loved the beautiful decor with all it's colorful accents, toys & activities for kids, deightful pool, and the ourtdoor kitchen SO much!! The location is also PERFECT for enjoying Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and all the lovely beaches and quaint coastal villages that are nearby. Colares itself is a terrific little non-touristy town - a fabulous base for our 9 days. There even is excellent bus service to the beaches and towns right at the end of our little private road! While everything about the house gets a 10+ in our book, the best is the incredible hosts, Sandra and Eduardo. They were so attentive, right from the start - and so helpful answering our many questions. They were always quick to respond with the perfect restaurant recommendation to the best fish markets to a wonderful local place to wacth Portugal play in Euros 2024! I cannot stress how much they added to our enjoyment! We left the Charm House feeling like we now had "family" in Portugal. We'd be back in a heartbeat - it is just the BEST!!! A million thanks, Sandra and Eduardo, for helping us to have the best vacation/family reunion ever!

Perfect house for family reunion!

The owners Sandra and Eduardo were amazing. They greeted us with Portuguese appetizers and sangria at their lovely home. They were very helpful, honest, caring and thoughtful. The house was great for our party of 12. Nine adults and 3 children. We loved the outdoor kitchen, nice extra space to hang out. The house is big and wonderful for larger groups. We were all together but everyone had their privacy at the same time. Very spacious. Very close to a bus stop with connection to Sintra. We took a train from Sintra to Lisbon, very easy. The house is located approximately 30 min walk from the beach, and the beach is beautiful. House is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. We appreciated that previous guests left spaces etc. in the pantry. Very helpful when trying to cook . I would highly recommend the house . Thank you Sandra and Eduardo for making our vacation so special. We appreciate your traditional Portuguese gift as well!!! We had an awesome time at your house.

Perfect family vacation stay

A Barca charm house was the perfect place for our entire family to enjoy a week in beautiful Portugal. Sandra and Eduardo are the most charming hosts and so helpful. The house was supplied with everything we needed, clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. There are bikes, games, toys and an awesome heated swimming pool. So close to all the major sites and beaches. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

The best hosts ever! 5 stars!

The hosts were absolutely incredible from the moment we booked till the moment we left - they went above and beyond! Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so at home and comfortable. The house was fantastic and so easy to get everywhere by bus or walking. Beach and playgrounds! The kids loved playing in the pool and the sandpit and the little houses. We had such a lovely stay - thanks so much both! Would definitely recommend!

As good as it looks!

The house if just as friendly and fun as it appears in the photos. The air here is filled with birdsong and the property provides more facilities than we could ever use. The hosts welcomed us warmly and seemed available for anything we may need. This place is a great find.

Barca Charm House

Had a wonderful time at the Barca Charm House on our first trip to the beautiful country of Portugal!! Sandra and Eduardo are the perfect hosts - made us feel like family!!! They greeted us when we arrived and Sandra prepared some Portuguese food tastes for us and Eduardo made his delicious sangria. He even returned another night and left us a surprise sangria pitcher!!! The house was perfect for our family!!! The grandkids had a backyard to play in, a sand box, play market, and playhouse to enjoy!! There were toys inside too and a small table and chairs for them.Unfortunately, we were only able to enjoy the pools on two days.The home is like old Portugal. The bedrooms were all spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was perfect for dinners. The home is also close to the beach, market and pastry shop. My kids were able to walk to the market and pastry shop to get coffee in the morning, We rented a car and drove to many sites in the area. The house is centrally located which makes it easier!!

Beautiful house & Wonderful holiday

We had an amazing holiday at the charm house, good size accommodations, plenty of towels, equipment, kitchen utensils they had really thought of everything. Lovely helpful hosts. Children loved the heated pool (extra charge). Relaxing evening around the table in the outside kitchen BBQ, games, laughing and making memories. The local beach is beautiful, a good 35mim walk from the house. Local winery, shops & restaurants all a short walk away. My only concern is that in Verbo advertising it says child’s beds in bedroom 2&5 but there are none and certainly wouldn’t be room in bedroom 5 for a child’s bed.

Wonderful house with amazing hosts

We loved our stay here. They had thought of everything and we felt so comfortable and welcome. When we arrived our hosts made us some delicious Portuguese food and drink which made the start of our holiday even more special. The pool and outside dining area were the highlights for us, we spent many happy hours here. The location is perfect for visiting local beaches and exploring nearby historic places of interest. We had one car but found walking to the beaches and nearby supermarket very easy. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Amazingly perfect vacation rental and a stay we will always remember fondly

We were so happy we rented this beautiful home . Love the decorating! This place is the most perfect I have come accross in decades of travel with the nicest, kindest, most accommodating hosts. Every need had been anticipated and any question quickly answered. We had picked this house because it seemed perfect for the little kids ages 1, 2, 4 and 10 and we needed an enclosed pool. Everything we dreamed of was in the house....several cribs, strollers, high chair, children's dishes and utensils. They loved it! The play houses,sandbox and loads of toys were amazing and the kids loved it all. It's such a relief to be able to relax outside while the kids are occupied playing. Floaties and volleyball net were a big hit, and the 4 year old learned to swim here! The outdoor kitchen was brilliant....with extra dishes, fridge and dishwasher. The hose itself is so cute and roomy with 5 lovely bedrooms , bath, big kitchen and living room and playroom. There were even English shows on tv for the kids. We were all so happy and relaxed here at our first family reunion again after Covid! We were received with sangria and delicious Portuguese snacks ..including sausage set alight on a ceramic pig..very cute! The next day we ordered Paella fro Sandra and what an amazing meal that was! So much to see ...beaches, Sintra, Lisbon etc. We walked to the beach or into town which was lovely. The grocery store in Colares is great..with a very good and well-priced wine selection. A wonderful stay!

Wonderful Stay in Barca Charm House

We had a large group of adults and children. The house met all our needs perfectly. Sandra and Eduardo are the most incredible hosts, they go above and beyond and it is obvious the love, care and attention that has gone into Barca Charm house. Their communication was excellent, the house was so well equipped, the pool and outdoor area was a fantastic gathering spot of everyone and the children loved it. The house is a great base for exploring the local area, taking a day trip to Lisbon, enjoying the local beaches. Sandra and Eduardo did the Portuguese dinner evening with us also and it was beautiful! Overall we all loved our time at Barca Charm house and thank you so much to Sandra and Eduardo for the amazing stay, beautiful food and for taking such good care of us!!

Barca Charm House in Colares

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The owners were so helpful as soon as we booked it. Sent us many ideas for things to do while we were in Portugal and greeted us with a delicious pitcher of Sangria and some local treats. This was our first experience with Vrbo and we were very happy!

Beautiful property/area and wonderful hosts

The property is really beautiful and no detail has been overlooked. It was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Lots within walking distance, including a really well stocked supermarket. You can get by without a car, but next time we visit we will hire one as there is so much to see in the local area. Our hosts were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. A wholehearted recommendation.
