Summary:
Unit 106 is a privately owned studio condo that is one of two handicap accessible units at D Sands. Designed with thought towards those with mobility issues, there is a ramp up to both the front door and back patio door, extra supports around the toilet, a wheel chair friendly sink, and a walk-in shower with a flexible shower head and shower seat. This space can sleep up to 4 with a Queen bed and sleeper sofa, and guests will appreciate full-sized appliances, incredible ocean views, and a patio.

The Space:
Unit 106 is a privately owned studio condo that is one of two handicap accessible units at D Sands. Designed with thought towards those with mobility issues, there is a ramp up to both the front door and back patio door, extra supports around the toilet, a wheel chair friendly sink, and a walk-in shower with a flexible shower head and shower seat. This space can sleep up to 4 with a Queen bed and sleeper sofa, and guests will appreciate full-sized appliances, incredible ocean views, and a patio. This condo has a full kitchen with the basics: cookware, pots and pans, dishes, silverware and appliances. The bathroom is accessible but not fully ADA rated.

Guest Access:
The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.

This is a 1st floor unit, there are 0 steps required to access the unit.

Enhance your Lincoln City experience by utilizing our local transit options! You can now schedule convenient pickups directly with Intercity Transit by calling them. Whether you're planning a trip to the beach, shopping areas, or local attractions, this service ensures a seamless and enjoyable exploration of our coastal town.

Other Things to Note:
This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

Interaction with Guests:
D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

The bathroom was difficult to use for my wheelchair bound husband due to the lack of grab bars over the toilet.A dresser to hold clothes would be helpful for week-long stays. Maybe have a smaller dining table and but a small dresser in its space-or on the wall by the vanity shelf?

Closeness to the beach can't be beat.

We enjoyed how close we were to the beach and local places. The condo is comfortable, clean, and equipped with basic necessities. The condo has disabled parking right out in front. Access with a wheelchair to the condo and back patio was good. Shower was not entirely accessible for a person who is paraplegic. We brought our own shower chair with a back to it. The space between the toilet and shower was tight for a person who has to do a full transfer from a wheelchair. However, we made it work. The bed was comfortable. The view was wonderful, and we felt like we had privacy, too. The management on site was helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful getaway!

Hi, I just want to tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your little beachside getaway. We had fun just driving around town, stopped at Reads, our favorite candy store. Had two Celebratory birthday meals for my daughter and myself...dinner at Kyllol's and lunch at Pelican Brewery. I am handicapped so... MUUUCH time was just sitting outside enjoying God's wonderful ocean. Thank you so much for your part in our trip. Diana PS:² Haha, we have several people asking for information on Six On the Beach!

Awesome view

When we arrived at our room, it was high tide and the view was fantastic from the patio. The room is adequate; nothing special about it. This is an older condo facility and you can hear your neighbors sometimes. We didn't have a problem with that; the unit above us was vacant. I brought earplugs just in case. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great location!

Right on the beach. Clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice patio - it's not private, it's right on the sidewalk to the beach so there's pedestrian travel. The bath could use an update but the towels and complimentary shampoo etc are nice. This is probably the busiest beach in Lincoln City but there's not really any noise. It's really quiet at night. The room in general was quiet except I could hear the people upstairs walking around. Ample parking. Convenient for restaurants, stores, and sightseeing. The sunsets alone are worth staying here.

Fantastic View

The furnishings in this property are in good condition but a little too eclectic for my tastes. The view is fantastic . As the D Sands sits next to the D River State Recreation Site which is a very popular day use are it would be a good people watching room. When the weather gets nice, people will start flying their kites in the area which is fun to watch. Even though the room was basically clean, the bathroom could stand a deep cleaning next to the baseboards. I know that probably sounds a little nit picky but...... I would stay here again.

Accessible property

It was easy to access the property but the unit as a whole is not accessible if a person is wheelchair bound. A wheelchair does not fit in the bathroom. Fortunately, my husband can get around using a cane for short distance.

Front desk attendant was friendly but creepy.

Front desk attendant was friendly but creepy. Approached my family member outside, came up behind without any sound then asked who they were with, where they were from, was anyone in the group single. He apparently just moved from TX. Also in office to get Wi-Fi password, same person on a call with guest that would be checking in soon, read out loud the room number and phone number. Not a very secure feeling, when you have a guest in the lobby and your providing details like that, or checking for single people.
