Liebenfels is located in picturesque Glantal, in the heart of Carinthia, Austria's sunniest province. Surrounded by natural beauty, hiking and riding trails, it is the perfect base. Within 30 minutes you can reach the lively city of Klagenfurt, the famous Wörthersee lake and even Italy.

For winter lovers, the Simonhöhe ski area is a top location: less than a 15-minute drive away you will find 15 km of slopes and 7 lifts, ideal for families and skiers of all levels. Other ski resorts such as Bad Kleinkirchheim (103 km of slopes) and Gerlitzen Alpe (52 km of slopes) are just an hour's drive away.

In summer, adventure beckons: hiking, cycling or swimming in idyllic lakes such as Kraigersee, Urbansee, Goggausee, Zmulner See and Längsee. Wörthersee and Ossiacher See are just 15-30 km away. For relaxation, there are public swimming pools in Sankt Veit an der Glan. Culture lovers will discover centuries-old castles, ruins and churches, each with a unique story.
