"The quality of everything was excellent. This hotel deserves its 4 stars. The customer service was first class, their knowledge and expertise, with food and drinks are visible in every detail. The decor is warm and welcoming, the wood burner was constantly tended makings the lounge areas cozy and warm. There is a welcoming atmosphere and I highly recommend."

"We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

"When i arrived I was not sure where to go and got to meet Ralphaldo who is the concierge that put me straight in the hotel's golf buggy and took me to the reception. He was great to talk to and was a lovely person to chat with and so cheerful. The suite was amazing and spacious, it was also clean and spotless. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful in the restaurants and made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing, each restaurant was great and had their own wonderful menus"

"Gorgeous stay. The staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. They are a real credit to the management. I attended to go to Yarndale in addition to celebrating my friends birthday. The restaurant was lovely with lots of choice including specials and with a prompt courteous service and a great ambiance. Will definitely be back when the log fire gets lit. Highly recommend for a lovely get away "

"Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. "We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them.
