"We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. They looked after us very well and our two dogs too! Breakfast was fresh, tasty and just what was needed before ascending Pendle Hill! We will definitely be back. "We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

"Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."

"We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!"

"The Skipton needs updating. The shower curtain rail was held together with duct tape and falling off the wall. The bath traps would not turn off without serious effort. "
