"Hotel was clean and very comfortable, but what made it shine was the front desk staff. Stayed for 4 nights and every interaction with each of them was friendly, attentive, professional and supportive. Good location with shopping and food beginning a block away. Only disappointment was lack drawers. Room was plenty big enough for a chest of drawers of some kind that would have helped support our 4-night stay. Would totally stay again and recommend to friends."

"The best thing about this hotel is its location to the waterfront and to the main street of old town. The hotel itself is very nice. The lobby was just redone although a bit business hotel style. The rooms are a nice layout, but they are very much in need of renovation.For the past three years, the wallpaper in the bathroom has been peeling every time I've been there.The room feels a bit dated and colorless."

"This property is under construction but the amenities and room sizes were worth it to our family of five. Made to order omelets each morning are included with the breakfast. It was so good and a welcome surprise. The complimentary evening cocktail hour was also nice with adult beverages and snacks for the kids. The proximity to the Metro is perfect for getting in/out of DC. The pool area is older and just okay. The work out facilities were nice. This was a bargain and we will stay here again!"

"This four bedroom row house worked well for our two families. The kitchen is well stocked and amenable. Living room/ dining room provided great space for meals and FIFA fun. One of the back burners was leaking gas and had to be shut off. Hope that’s fixed prior to next client. Upstairs shower was not working when we arrived. Fixed in two days. Downstairs /basement bed uncomfortable. There are two large paintings of nudes/ we had to hang sheets over them to protect our young children. ...

"Great hotel to stay at if planning on using the metro to get into D.C. That is really the reason we stayed here this year. The hotel is old. You can tell the lobby is nicely updated but the rooms are a completely different story. We were on the top floor and there was a larger crack in our window. The room stunk terribly (like must/rotten egg). The shower needs some work. The beds were very comfortable though! We were out of soap upon arrival and when we went back downstairs to head to town for...

"Our room was never fully cleaned by housekeeping, the bed was made and towels were changed only after you requested housekeeping. There was trash under the dresser, the rugs and floor would make the bottoms of our feet black after taking a shower. I will never stay at this Red Roof Inn or any other one again."
