"Lovely place to stay and perfect for exploring West Yorkshire and the Peak District. Accomodation was very clean and comfortable and owners and neighbours very friendly. Also has a lovely little courtyard where you can watch the sunset with either a glass or a cuppa. Will definitely stay again. "

"Last minute choice for us but a good one. Lots of dog friendly space outside the hotel in the gardens which, whilst somewhat neglected were still enjoyable and full of wildlife. Hotel itself was slightly dated and could do with a lick of paint or two but overall was in good condition and the evening receptionist and breakfast staff were top notch. Earlier in the evening we had walked out of a hotel we had booked and paid for as it transpired to be dismal but this place was an excellent last...

"Great location , friendly discreet staff . Good size rooms of a good standard and I overslept and they extended my check out by 1 hour free id charge. Amazing.! I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. I will not be using them again. I can recommend...

"Didn’t have breakfast. The staff are a brilliant asset for the hotel, nothing was too much for them and they did it with a smile, sometimes in the face of adversity, I can’t praise them highly enough, my only concern is that the hotel is really in need of an upgrade, in particular the door/key system seriously needs looking at."
