Clean room and quick check-in. I’d give this 3.5 stars but there was no option for this.
This boutique hotel is basic but clean which is important.
Would have helped to have lifts for larger bags as even though it’s 2 flights of stairs, it’s still 2 flights of stairs for heavy bags to go up and down.
There is an equipped kitchen and dining on the ground floor ideal for warming up and having meals but it is in much need of a good tidy up and clean.
The property is on a very steep hill and coming back up the hill is back breaking work, a good workout for the not so faint hearted.
All in all, a good hotel, good comms for check-in as the reception wasn’t manned when we arrived in the afternoon on Australia Day, and conveniently located/short drive to amenities/dining options, the city park and other attractions (cataract gorge).
