"The front desk staff was helpful on arrival, during the trip, and upon departure. The room itself was fine/clean. Some of the exterior elevator call buttons were broken, pushed back into the frame, but were still being used. Seemed like a little bit of a hazard to me. The dealbreaker for me was after I got home and unpacked. I realized I had left an outfit hanging behind the bathroom door. I am 100% positive that I left pants and a shirt there. "Dated decor. The tv and remote control in my room did not work, even after the manager changed the cord. The room also had a stale odour. The location met my needs for the work conference I attended, but it wouldn't be somewhere I'd go to stay while on vacation."

The hotel staff made this quick and painless. We were able to relax at the pool. And get a great dinner recommendation from hotel staff. If you’re looking for great staff. "When we arrived we were put in a room that smelled very musty, had stained carpet and the bathroom mirror was damaged with black streaks. We called the front desk immediately and they said for an upgrade of $40 we can move you. We were paying $500 already. Once we moved the room was clean and comfortable. I was looking for luxury and this was not it. It was a comfortable stay but not what I was thinking. "

"Sonesta Suites Scottsdale Gainey Ranch is a beautiful, clean, and well-kept property. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The only thing to note is that we visited during spring break, so the hotel was quite busy with many kids around. If you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxing stay, this may not be the best choice during that time of year. Other than that, it’s a lovely hotel."

"Since our plane was delayed we called ahead to notify that we would be checking in very late after midnight. Night clerk very helpful and accommodating, he even helped us find a parking spot. Housekeeping only cleaned our room 2 days out of 5 after we requested fresh towels and garbage emptied. Breakfast was average, some items cold because people left the lids open but could be heated in the available microwave. Nice having coffee available 24 hours and lemonade and cookies during the day. "I really enjoyed staying at this resort. It was peaceful and spacious. I stayed in a villa. I really liked how large the rooms were and the patio area was nice. I brought my dog so the patio was nice to take my dog outside. The rooms were very clean. Even with being pet friendly the rooms did not have any pet oder. The resort is older but is well maintained. The pool area was clean. I saw in reviews people said the walls were thin and they cough hear people next door. I was worried...
