"Tahoe City is the place to be. evo has a great location and staff. Restaurant and bar is fine plus you can easily walk to more places to eat and shop. Location looks at Lake Tahoe on the front and a golf course on the back with golfers, dogs, incoming geese and duck. We loved it."

"Stayed there between summer and ski season. Excellent value. Not particularly crowded. Easy drive to lakeside on the quieter north side. Staff helpful and friendly. At the foot of the ski runs literally at the base of the mountains. And on the edge of a great golf course. "

"From the upper floors (7th or 6th) the view of the lake is wonderful."

"Sunnyside is a gorgeous older property right on the lake. The room was comfortable, the shower fantastic (awesome water pressure), and the views spectacular. "

"We stayed in the basement room (1 queen and bunkbed) which was perfect for our family of 4 with a dog. The room opens up to a big outdoor area, so it's extremely easy to to take the dog out. There was a small fridge and microwave so we had everything we needed for a night's stay. The only thing to know is that you have to go down two flights of stairs to access the room which may be an issue for some. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice place. If you like the antique look, you'll love this place. I liked that the living room could be converted into another bedroom, since the bathroom is in the middle of the bedroom and the living room."

"The most unforgettable part of staying here is the stunning natural beauty all around you. The mountains and green trees feel like a postcard come to life. A highlight was the Tram, just a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel, that takes you up to the historic Olympic station from the 1960 Winter Olympics. The scenery at the top is breathtaking, and the food there was delicious — definitely worth staying for lunch. The village itself feels like a little slice of Europe.
