"This is a lovely Victorian house filled with Victorian decor. Our bedroom was quaint and the bed very cozy. The gardens surrounding the house are lovely and the porch is a wonderful place to sit and relax. My only complaint is the breakfast. Very easy access to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (leave the parking lot by driving straight across a road, drive 3 minutes, and you’re there). Breakfast at the hotel was unappealing but there is a great breakfast spot — Lazy Daisy — around the corner (truly a 2-3 minute walk around a corner). "Didn't have any complimentary breakfast. Place looked run down inside and out. Couldnt understand the desk worker. Beds were hard and tv didn't work. 100% don't recommend."

I would stay there again, but would recommend a better explanation from the front desk that the rooms - which are down a long corridor in what is essentially another building - would be more easily accessed by driving and parking near that building's door."

"This hotel is run very well and we stay several times a year at this location because of that. The rooms are very clean and it is quiet. There are great dining options within walking distance and many walking paths nearby. Everyone from the reception staff to the kitchen staff is super friendly and helpful making for a pleasant stay.
