breathe in the refreshing ocean air and watch spectacular sunrises and colourful sunset skies from the verandah and relax with the ocean sounds and bird song in the background. For over two generations Salt Breeze has been a much loved family holiday home and added a fully self-contained unit downstairs.

HOLIDAY RENTAL HOUSE, LAKE CATHIE, 2445 (MID-NORTH COAST NSW) - 89 Chepana St

This location has it all. Beach, the tidal lake Lake Cathie, cafe, shops, local tavern and restaurants are all walking distance. Middle Rock beach is right across the street accessible via a 50 metre bush track, so you can leave the car at home and even little ones can just walk. Middle Rock surf break is a 5 minute walk. The lake at the end of the street is perfect for little ones too and a delight for fishing and paddling. Golf courses, wineries and National Park all a 10 minute drive. Port Macquarie town is a 15 minute drive. Caramels coffee shop, Woolworths, local bakery, taverns and restaurants 5 min level walk or 1 min by car.

BEDDING

3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms. 1x queen bed, 2x double beds, 1x single bed, 1x single divan chair that converts into a bed, 1x double sofa bed.


Upstairs: master BDR with Queen bed, 2nd bedroom with Double bed. Single divan chair in lounge room converts into a single bed Downstairs: 3rd BDR with double bed, lounge with single bed and sofa bed.
Luxury freshly washed high quality linen is included, please bring your own beach towels

THE SPACE / LAYOUT
Generally upstairs and downstairs spaces are NOT rented out separately, so you will always have peace and quiet even when you rent upstairs only. Top level is accessible via outdoor stairs. The front balcony with relaxing lounge seats offers you glorious sunrise views and ocean glimpses under the constant calming sounds of the waves crashing on the beach across the street. Upstairs features open plan living, with a modular flexible lounge, dining suite and modern kitchen. The kitchen opens up to a covered back deck and spacious garden with an impressive green lawn and tropical landscaping throughout. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Spacious master bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of cupboard space. Second bedroom features a double bed. The is a pull out single divan in the lounge room that converts to a single bed. Bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet.


Salt Breeze's downstairs level features a fully self-contained one bedroom unit with a separate entrance and its own side patio, all on one level. Fully equipped modern kitchen, one bathroom, one bedroom with double bed, and a single daybed in the lounge as well as a sofa bed. Downstairs sleeps a max of 3-5 guests.

PET FRIENDLY
Salt Breeze's fully fenced back yard and outdoor covered back deck which adjoins the kitchen is great for dogs. Pets to be kept outdoors. Small / medium size indoor pets allowed only upstairs with pre-approval from owner. Please keep pets off furniture and beds

Carport and driveway parking available. There is plenty of space to park a boat or caravan.

Our stay here at the Salt Breeze was one of the most beautiful ones we’ve had through stayz.First time staying in lake Cathie and we just want to pack up and move there. Such a lovely and friendly community with an active beachy lifestyle.The home itself is immaculate. We stayed upstairs and downstairs and everything from the interior decor to the manicured lawns & everything in between was perfect.There was absolutely everything stocked there that would be needed and the comfiest beds we have ever slept in.We will definitely be staying again and the best part was we were able to bring our dogs with us to enjoy the holiday to, it really felt like home and loved our stay so much xx

Great Location, clean and tidy

Stayed her with the family for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Close to everything as in beach, shops etc. Upstairs was good with 2 rooms and comfy beds. Downstairs, a very small double bed, single bed outside wasn't very comfy either and same with the sofa bed. Otherwise, everything else was good and no issues.

Lake Cathie ocean stay

With our daughter's family (husband, 2 young school age children and a dog) we stayed at Salt Breeze for 5 nights during the Christmas period. It was very clean and comfortable. The configuration of a separate one bed apartment downstairs and a two-bed apartment with a dog friendly garden upstairs, suited us perfectly. The beach across the road was beautiful to listen to in the evenings. We enjoyed our walks with the dog on the beach which was so close to our accommodation. But it is a treacherous beach for swimming. Locals also advised us against swimming in Lake Cathie (located at the end of the street) after rain. We drove 5 - 10 minutes to swim at patrolled and beautiful Bonny Hills and Tacking Point beaches. The area is very well serviced with a large and excellent Woolworths. We bought fresh prawns from a cart vendor - delicious! Apart from a few hiccups using the ovens and cooktops (about which we advised the agent), everything was beautifully presented and well provisioned in the apartments. The upstairs apartment had ample room and comfort for the 6 of us to dine together on the few occasions that we dined in. The garden was perfect for the dog. The laundry and outdoor clothesline were used!

Great Easter break

We 3 stayed here during Easter. A good set up with the apartment downstairs for our friend and us upstairs. The fan in the master didn’t work but it was cool so didn’t need it and the oven didn’t reach temperature but other than that it was a great little house. The 2 dogs loved the secure backyard. The sound of the ocean was magnificent and such a close walk across the road and behind the houses to the beach. Thank you Susan for bringing the pedestal fan and your friendliness.

Large Family group with dogs

Seascape house surpassed our expectations. From the point of enquiring they were one of the only pet friendly properties who actually were welcoming to our dogs. When we arrived the property was beautifully appointed and so much care was taken to make guests feel welcome and spoiled. The location - across the road from Lighthouse beach was absolutely amazing and we found ourselves at the beach morning and afternoon! We absolutely loved this property and will be recommending to all of our friends with and without pets.

Great place for two families

Short but Very Relaxing Stay

Salt Breeze is great accommodation to stay in peaceful Lake Cathie. The house itself is very clean with all the homely needs covered such as linen, fully setup kitchen and lounge, balcony and garden seated areas and ample parking. We could hear the waves and kept the windows open to take in the sea breeze. Close to shops, beach and lake which are within walking distance. Susan provided complimentary condiments which were also appreciated. We will certainly stay there again as our Lake Cathie base. Thanks Andrew

Great Beach Location

Thanks for the welcome package and a great stay right across from the beach. Property was clean and tidy and getting access was a breeze. Needed to do a little extra puppy proofing of the yard but quickly done. Highly recommend

Everything as expected plus more

Susan went the extra mile to find a suitable place for us and our 2 Siamese. The presentation of the property was excellent and there were some unexpected food and drink treats left for us. Very welcoming. After 1 night, the property became close to bush fires and, without asking, Susan offered a choice of 2 other places. We gratefully accepted a new unit in the city. Overall, extremely satisfied.

Relaxing with the sound of the ocean nearby!

Thank you Susan for the welcoming note . We enjoyed our stay in your very clean and well organised house. We enjoyed every area, the garden was great for our puppy whilst we enjoyed the outside area both at the back and the front balcony. With only a short walk to the beach, the house is greatly placed . It was ideal to travel around in the area and discover the areas around the lake as well as great beaches and nearby Port Macquarie. Highly recommended . We enjoyed it !
