"Der Aufenthalt war super. Der Zug, der viermal am Tag hinter dem Haus entlang fuhr, war eine willkommene Abwechslung. Die Stromversorgung erfolgte über einen Generator, der hörbar 24 Stunden am Tag lief. An ihn hatten wir uns schnell gewöhnt und das Geräusch, ein sonores Brummen, konnten wir schnell ausblenden. Sehr viel Landschaft, sehr wenig Menschen. Wer Einsamkeit und ein wenig Abenteuer sucht, ist dort richtig. Anreise kann nicht mit tiefergelegtem Auto erfolgen."

"Fantastic stay! The house is beautiful and the location affords easy access for what ever direction you choose to travel. Best coffee maker we have ever seen. Maybe better directions to the home would be nice otherwise 10 out of 10! Fresh flowers were a very nice touch! Thank you!"

"The cottage was perfect for our first couple of nights in Scotland. We explored sights in the highlands and came home each day to our cozy abode. We didn’t get a chance to try the awesome wood stove/cook top but it was a beautiful backdrop. Beds were comfy, shower had great pressure and beautiful grounds to explore or just look at. Check out Tarvie, just up the road, for your breakfast coffee, hot rolls and baked goods - their tablet is the best!"

"As advertised, this is a remote cottage, suitable for a family with two children plus a dog. Comes with a sheep. About half an hour of single track road to get here. There's one shop and a tea room nearby. Great walks and scenery. Cottage is basic and just what you would expect in such a location. It's not the Ritz, nor should it be. Lovely get away. "

"Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....

"The property was well maintained and presented with a wonderful garden area for relaxing . Our two dachshunds loved the garden area which was secure and overlooked the black river The location was perfect to access to the NC 500 routes and many other wonderful places . I recommend the short walk to little Garve village and bridge . A very restful week in great surroundings"

"On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival. The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car."
