"After more than 30 years staying at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, this was the most disappointing experience our family has ever had.
We traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday, which unfortunately turned into a nightmare. During our stay, someone forcibly entered our room and stole several electronic belongings while my wife, children, and elderly parents were staying in nearby rooms. The door showed signs of forced entry, raising serious concerns about guest security.
What made the situation even worse was that NONE of the safes in our rooms were functioning, leaving us without any secure place to store valuables.
Beyond the financial loss, the emotional impact on our family was significant. We no longer felt safe, especially with young children and parents over 75 years old with us.
We immediately reported the incident and management asked us to send a formal letter explaining everything. We did so respectfully, hoping for acknowledgment and support. Sadly, we never received any response.
After decades of loyalty to this hotel, the lack of communication and accountability has been deeply upsetting.
I am sharing this so other travelers can take extra precautions regarding their safety and valuables while staying here."
