"We were amazed at the sounds and sights while staying here! So many birds, monkeys and even an otter came to visit the pond! It was fun playing in the pool and the rain! Not too far from La Fortuna and small convenience shops at the end of the road. The kitchen isn’t really suitable for cooking for a family and isn’t very well equipped so probably best to eat out or make snacks only. The AC worked well and we enjoyed our stay here! Would recommend 😊👍"

"Great place to stay in La Fortuna! Close to restaurants and shops. Easy to get to and park on property. We could see a sloth from the back yard. Had a small problem due to very heavy rain but the management group were great and helped us out right away."

"Our stay in the house was great. The house is tucked back from the road and behind a gate. The property is gorgeous. Lorenzo, the owner, made sure we did not miss the two sloths in the trees! He also set out fruit so we had a bunch of cool birds visit every day. The bird calls are amazing to wake up to. The house itself is clean and spacious. We enjoyed the creek views, the outside spaces, and the pool. There's a great restaurant at the top of the street that is really easy for a quick meal....

"We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended."

"The property is beautiful, definitely surpassed our expectations! There were two couples in our party so we only used the two bedrooms with King beds, but there was plenty of room for another adult couple or a few young children. While the property does advertise space for 10 guests, personally, I think 6 adults would be ideal as seating inside and outside for more than 4-6 could be tight. The pool is so nice and peaceful. Morning coffee by the pool watching the clouds float past the volcano was...

"The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. Our family had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. Pura Vida."

"The home is beautiful and very well laid out for our party of 5. It is a vacation home so there are some things that could be improved for maximum comfort and convenience i.e. hooks in the bathrooms for hanging towels, even a couple of hooks in the bedrooms for hanging hat or towels. A shelf in the bathrooms for toiletries/hair products. The air conditioners worked wonderfully in the bedrooms and the pool area made you feel like you were at an upscale hotel. "This was such a nice stay. The home was great and very well built and stocked with all you need. it was so nice to sit outside, enjoy the pool and the lush surroundings. The care taker came and showed us the local sloth and we had a nice walk around the property. There are 2 other rentals but they are all very well separated. You opulent tell anyone else was around and each back yard:pool area was very private. We lived out time there."
