Déception

L'emplacement est très sécuritaire, parfaitement bien situé pour découvrir la région. La maison est propre, spacieuse et décorée avec goût. Toutefois l'équipement général est minimal et l'entretien y est négligé: aucune literie supplémentaire, robinetterie non fixée, couvercle de poubelle cassé, porte d'armoire qui tombe, piscine sale et manque d'eau (renvoi d'eau très bruyant).Malgré ces petits irritants, cet endroit comporte des avantages très intéressants.

Modern, comfortable. Host very responsive. Would suggest there be some additional linens and blankets to accommodate each visitor. We could have used additional top sheets and blankets.

Perfect Spot

The house was great! Just outside of town, quite and safe neighborhood. We enjoy cooking at home and the kitchen was well provisioned. Check out the cocoa and coffee tour just down the street!

House is beautiful, very spacious, clean and it has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of restaurants near by, close drive into town. Volcano view is breathe taking. Definitely would love to stay at Casa Santa Fe afain.

Excellent Home

This house worked well for our family of 5. The pool is a bit small but to have it to ourselves was nice. The furniture in the family room was not very comfortable but we were not home much. The neighborhood felt safe although we were a bit far from some of our excursions (canyoning and hot springs). We would stay here again.

La Fortuna stay

The property is modern and the decor is outstandingly beautiful. Large property with plenty of places to spend time. The host left Imperials and mangoes for us which was so thoughtful. We loved the location - short distance to places to eat, the volcano (unfortunately it was too cloudy for us to see fully), and waterfalls. When we showed up to the property, we weren’t sure what to tell the people at the security gate, but we were able to use translate and got it figured out and made it through. The security gave us an extra sense of safety while we were there. Overall great place and absolutely would visit again!

Spacious modern home

We had a great time in this spacious house. The place is what it looks like on the listing. It’s in a gated community away from the center of town. If you don’t mind the extra minutes, it’s worth the distance.

No commication with the manager

Did not get a key for the front door so we had to continually carry our groceries and our luggage through to the back of the house against the hedge very cumbersome The showers were excellent, but the shampoo and the body wash was the same product

Great start to our trip!

The home is beautiful and very well laid out for our party of 5. It is a vacation home so there are some things that could be improved for maximum comfort and convenience i.e. hooks in the bathrooms for hanging towels, even a couple of hooks in the bedrooms for hanging hat or towels. A shelf in the bathrooms for toiletries/hair products. The air conditioners worked wonderfully in the bedrooms and the pool area made you feel like you were at an upscale hotel. Very convenient to downtown La Fortuna.

Solid base to discover La Fortuna and surroundings

We stayed for 3 nights at Danny's place and used it as a base to explore the volcano, hot springs and trails around La Fortuna. It was a fine location for us and Danny was great with communication (even dropping off some fresh mango's and coffee beans - thanks!!!) I think several of the units in the community are all rental units and so there can be a bit of a party-vibe with the neighbouring units. All in all a solid place to base yourself.

Amazing Casa!

This home had everything we needed, and Danny was a pleasure to communicate with! He made reservations for us for dinner, and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The home was impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. We felt safe in a gated and quiet community, which is just a short drive from town. We would stay here again for sure!

Great location and size of house!

Danny was a wonderful and responsive host. The house is in a safe and gated community 5 minutes from town. 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and a nice great room area with dining, couch and kitchen. The grounds were beautiful! If you plan to go on excursions best to bring your own beach towels! I’d stay again!

Amazing property! Exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated. Outdoor space is perfect for hanging out. Lush landscaping. Roof top deck has great views of volcano!
