The space

As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by vibrant patterned wallpaper and cozy furnishings. The sun-soaked open-plan living area features a wood-burning fireplace, ensuring warmth and comfort year-round. Gather around the leather couches and dining table, or flow seamlessly into the lively kitchen, designed for family gatherings and group fun.

This retro retreat accommodates up to eleven guests, with four spacious bedrooms spread across two levels, each accompanied by a full bathroom. An additional living space downstairs provides plenty of room for relaxation. The indoor-outdoor flow opens up to a large upper-level deck, complete with outdoor seating and a BBQ, all nestled among trees and rolling hills with a glimpse of Lake Taupo.

On the opposite side of the lake from Taupo, Kuratau is a tranquil town offering a wealth of outdoor activities. Spend your days kayaking, boating, or water skiing, or try your hand at fly fishing for rainbow trout in the Tongariro River. With its serene atmosphere, Kuratau is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of Taupo.
