New mini split Air Conditioning system just installed to make your Kuhio Shores 217 cooling experience perfect. Open windows, trade winds, fans to hear the soothing sounds of the ocean. And now if none of the above works you have use of a quiet, efficient air conditioning system to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Kauai, the Garden Isle, is the most tropical of all of the Hawaiian Islands. Stay in a fabulous one bedroom unit in a luxury condominium at Poipu Beach. On the sunny South Shore of Kauai guests will enjoy lush vegetation and flowers and the least amount of rainfall on any part of the Garden Isle.

Mike Galvin oceanfront condo is only 50 feet from the ocean's edge, which allows for easy and quick access to the ocean. There are white sand beaches on both sides of the condo and Sunset Magazine states that this location is 'the best snorkeling site on the south shore.' For those looking to surf or boogie board, this experience is an unforgettable one.

The unit includes a lovely and spacious lanai that is great for sunbathing and viewing the spectacular sunsets. The large living room has new wall to wall carpeting, charming rattan furniture, and a queen-size sofa sleeper. This unit will accommodate four persons comfortably and is equipped with 27' cable TV.

Wireless DSL high speed internet connection available.

The bedroom has a king-size bed, a large closet, and a ceiling fan. The fully appointed kitchen includes a full sized refrigerator, range, dishwasher and disposal, a microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster, and all of the utensils that would be found at home. Floor to ceiling windows create a awesome views in both the dining room and the living room.

Watch the sunset from the living room as the surf pounds the beach at the doorstep, and watch the surfers enjoy one of the most beautiful locations on the Islands. Come to peace, tranquillity and beauty!

Kauai i trip

This is a nice comfortable condo in a good location. My husband and I particularly enjoyed eating in the lanai watching the ocean. Will definitely consider renting this condo again.

We had a wonderful 9 night stay. The condo was great. Had everything we needed and definitely utilized the beach gear. Very quiet with only the sound of the surf in the background . The view is exceptional-we watched surfers and turtles from the balcony every evening. We never turned on the A/C or TV. The sunsets were spectacular. We snorkeled at several beaches but found Lawai beach to have the most varied fish-only a few minutes walk. Very close to Spouting Horn and Allerton/McBryde National Botanical Garden. Lots of great food options close by. Could have easily stayed longer.Owners were great. Very clear communication about checking in, etc. We had no issues at all during our stay.

We had a great time in the Kuhio shores condo! The place had a perfect view, great amenities for beach, cooler, chairs, shade and more! We watched surfers and whales from our lanai and the best sunsets! We didn’t want to leave, and hope to be back soon!

Lovely Lawa'i Beach Condo

Perfect location with amazing views. Every day we watched turtles and surfers from the lanai. Every evening we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The condo had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable! Thank you for sharing your home. We can't wait to return. Aloha!

Great Location

We had amazing first time in Kauai staying here. The location is perfect and the host is super responsive. The check in process was extremely easy. The host provided beach chairs, towels, and other beach accessories. The apartment is stocked with everything you need. I loved hearing the crashing of the waves every night.

Thoroughly enjoyed the ocean view, the peaceful sound of the waves and the calm of nature. The condo was very well situated: close to restaurants, shopping, Old Town Koloa, food markets and sites. Wifi was superb.

great condo with amazing views.

easy to find, nice and clean and owner responded fast to my text message. Location is great, the view is breathtaking. we saw turtles every morning and manta rays playing in the water. Condo was comfortable with everything needed. Will totally recommend !

Kuhio shores

Five nights in Kuhio shores Kawaii. Older building, One bedroom, second story, south east facing condo overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable lived in feel. It had some beach stuff, chairs etc. in the closet but we did not use any of it. Nice but expensive restaurant next door. We had dinner there one night. Rocky beach area with small sandy beach entrance nearby. Enjoyed watching a few surfers while sitting on the patio with a glass of wine. Not particularly walkable area but we had a car so all good.

Stellar location and views!

We love Kauai and always appreciate any opportunity to be on island. Having to work while there, I opted for this property and the phenomenal views to hopefully see some whales. Definitely worked out well! :) The Galvin’s were extremely easy to communicate with, very responsive while I was there, and provided directions, ideas, and more to help with my stay. Truly a lovely experience!

We loved this little 1 bedroom. It was perfect for us. Clean, quiet & fully equipped. Owners were excellent communicators. Air conditioner worked great. Be sure to hold the remote near the a/c unit to turn it on. The ocean breeze was enough until late afternoon. We look forward to booking it again.

Location, Location, Location!

What a great location for everything we wanted to do. Before traveling I researched where to go to see great sunsets. Little did I know it was right at the condo. Plus, each morning I could watch surfers and sea turtles right from our windows or balcony. The condo was clean and included everything we needed for a great stay.

Relaxing

Slice of Heaven!

Lovely setting with a view of the ocean. Adjacent to The Beach House Restaurant. The spouting horn is a short drive away. Beach is steps from the condo, surfing and swimming.
