PRIME LOCATION! This freshly updated home with new furniture will make you want to extend your stay! High-speed WiFi will make remote working and learning simple. Keyless entry for safety and ease of use.

Enjoy this comfortable cottage in the heart of Southern Shores. This very spacious home boasts 2 bedrooms, including 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, a twin mattress, all provided with linens. 2 full baths included with towels, and additional outdoor shower when you're feeling outdoorsy.

Check right in comfortably with a provided starter pack inclusive of paper towels, toilet paper, hand and dish soap, dishwasher and laundry pods, tissues, make up towelettes, and trash bags.

Relax at this homey cottage, ideal for all four seasons. On cool evenings snuggle up by the wood burning fire place, and on sunny summer days escape to the beautiful beaches. Two minute drive to beach with stress free Southern Shores beach access parking passes.

While staying here you are centrally located to many activities, including local restaurants, golf/tennis at Duck Woods CC, hang gliding, Duck town boardwalk, surf lessons, marina access, shopping, light house tours, and so much more!

Loved the Cottage--loved the Outer Banks

Out of our seven long and short-term rentals in the U.S., Sandpiper Cottage was our favorite! We stayed there for the month of March 2025. The cottage exceeded our expectations; it was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a long stay. The location was in a very nice neighborhood and near everything we wanted to do in the Outer Banks. Check-in was easy and the hosts provided great recommendations for local dining and activities. We highly recommend this VRBO and would stay there again when visiting the OBX.

Perfect Family getaway!

This was our 2nd stay at the Sandpiper residence and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Quiet neighborhood not too far from the beach with beach passes and plenty of restaurants and activities close by. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Getaway, Quiet Neighborhood

Though away from the beach, this is a great central location to Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, and Duck. This is a cute, clean home to just getaway and relax. The beach is only a few miles away and we went several times with the passes provided in the home.

Amazing in Every Way!

The house was incredibly clean, and the neighborhood was great! Close to everything you would ever want to do. The parking passes were a great addition and made beach going so much easier. The owners were so responsive and providing excellent recommendations. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, very clean, excellent hosts! Highly recommend!!

This home was in immaculate condition, and our family of four had plenty of space. The beach parking passes and outdoor shower were very helpful for days at the beautiful Outer Banks beaches. Neighborhood was quiet and only a couple of minutes drive to the beach and conveniently close to grocery stores. Highly recommended this home!

Wonderful property!

We loved our stay at this property. The cottage was clean, updated with everything you would need, and so relaxing! The owners were responsive and so helpful with giving us recommendations on our first stay to the area. The neighborhood was wonderful and quiet. The beach passes were appreciated and we never had an issue with parking. We appreciated all the amenities that helped our trip feel like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice Family Vacation

The house was a nice place for a smaller family or group of people. It was clean and very lovely. It was also very quiet. It is a bit far from the beach - depending on your group and abilities to bike - but it is definitely manageable. It all depends on what you are looking for. If you have ever been to the OBX, lots of places are not right on the beach, but some are closer than others. This property is perfect for a restful and quiet vacation.

Bright and newly renovated cottage close to Southern Shores beach

Our family of five really enjoyed staying at the Sandpiper Cottage, a clean, bright, beautifully furnished, newly renovated house, located in a quiet neighborhood near the Duck Woods Country Club. The house is in a convenient location, with a very short drive to the Southern Shores town beach and two grocery stores and Walmart. We appreciated having the two parking passes for the beach (parking was never an issue at any time of the day) and enjoyed spending time on the screened-in porch. Heather was super responsive to all my questions. We highly recommend staying at the Sandpiper Cottage!

Restful stay at Sandpiper Cottage

Sandpiper is a lovely home located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The bedrooms and common areas are a great size and have comfortable and inviting furnishings. My husband and I loved the bed in the master. Slept like a baby. We enjoyed sitting on the large screened in back porch and even had a meal there. Because of its great location, the home was a great base for us to return to each evening after seeing all the sights in the area. Drew and Heather were quick to respond to questions about the property and even gave us some great suggestions for dining out. We highly recommend this property.

Family beach getaway

We had a lovely time. Property was very clean and we felt at home immediately. Hosts were very responsive to questions and check in was a breeze. about 5 min drive to the beach and super close to grocery stores and other necessities. Nice Vibe = Relaxing Setting

The cottage has a pleasant beach vibe that's very relaxing, and which makes it an ideal place to unwind and refresh. Very well maintained, and the entire reservation/check-in process was simple and streamlined--the owners were very helpful and responsive. The neighborhood was quiet, though the adjacent area was a bit busier than expected--but that provided some additional convenience for supplies, take-out, etc. And it only took a few minutes to get to the more peaceful setting of the beach.
