Take advantage of the unbeatable views from your Private Deck and since the closest public beach access is a 2-minute walk away, you're never far from fun in the sun, surf, and sand.

Take advantage of 2 parking spaces before heading inside. Burn off some steam with a game of cards or a word search at the Card Table before taking a nap on the cozy Queen Sleeper Sofa nearby. A convenient Wet Bar makes snacks and drinks after your drive to the OBX simple and easy as you get ready to explore the best of what the beach has to offer.

Its name is synonymous with 'First in Flight'. Kitty Hawk was the home of Wilbur and Orville Wright, the legendary brothers who pioneered and paved our highways in the sky! Don't take my word for it. Learn all about them at the interactive Wright Brothers museum! Head over to Stack 'Em High in the mornings for a pile of flapjacks that will melt in your mouth. Later, take a short drive on Virginia Dare Trail (or the beach road, as locals call it) for lunch or dinner at The Black Pelican for delicious sandwiches, steaks, and fresh seafood dishes. We found issues from the first moment we stepped into the townhouse. 9/18/25: top deck never cleaned; furniture turned over; beer can in corner; rug in heap; middle deck: sliding screen door continued to go off track9/19/25: locked out. Maintenance talked hubby thru fix. Time span from call about 45 minutes.9/20/25: No hot water. Initially lasted less than 5 minutes.9/21/25: Again, no hot water. While maintenance was fixing, hubby noticed French doors in lower level are secured with only a rope around the handles. The door was not latched. The rope was the only thing keeping them closed. Bottom line, the unit is not secured from intruders. We left two days earlier than the time we paid for.

Excellent location!

This was our first trip to Outer Banks and we could not have been more pleased with the location of this property. Kitty Hawk is central located on OB, which means a short drive to Duck, Roanoke Island, and a beautiful drive to Hatteras. There is also every convenience nearby - many, many restaurants, grocery store, Walmart, etc.This townhouse was right across the street from the beach and a two minute walk from the front door. The property was exactly as described in the listing - and we enjoyed the sunrise views and breakfast on the sunny deck. The property is dog friendly, so we brought out pup, but was very clean and well maintained. The host was very responsive to our questions leading up to the trip, and they also offer an app to give you insights into the local area.. We will definitely stay here again on any future trips to OB.

Thanksgiving on the Banks

The property is clean and well apportioned. The listing is everything it said it was. The check in and coming and going was a nightmare. When we arrived, there was no warning that the property had any kind of security system. Shortly after we arrived and started moving our stuff into the unit, a godawful loud alarm started sounding and stating that the upstairs window had been opened. It was the Wednesday evening just before Thanksgiving, we called the number on the check in paperwork, but they were no help at all. Finally a neighbor who said she knew the owner called the owner and because of that conversation, she unplugged the alarm that was screaming and took it with her. A secondary result of unplugging the security equipment was that the automatic numeric lock system was disabled. So, we couldn’t lock the door and leave and be able to get back in. On Friday maintenance came out to correct the lock and admonished me and my wife for unplugging the security equipment that works with the electronic locks. The whole weekend had sort of a cloud over it because of the locks not properly working..

The property is a short walk to the beach and a short drive to several restaurants. Had an issue with the Wi-Fi, Seaside Properties was quick to resolve the issue. Enjoyed the view of the ocean from the upper deck.
