B&B en Kirkby Stephen

"We were walking the Pennine Way and stopped off at Bongate House after reaching Dufton and after walking/backpacking for most of the day. We had a very friendly welcome from Ann who on arrival looked after our every need. Breakfast was ample and tasty. The property suited our needs perfectly. Thank you Ann!"

"Great place, delicious food and excellent location."

"Great location and good menu choice at reasonable price. Room dated and lacked basics, also a bit dusty. We were told we couldn't have breakfast as we hadn't ore ordered, I'm sure they could have managed something for us. Ok stay but wouldn't rush back"

"We were greeted by Victor, very friendly and welcoming, who showed us to our room, a small double but very clean and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. We had a lovely view of Todd Crag which we were climbing the next day. Breakfast was amazing, a good selection of cereal, yoghurt, fruit and even cakes! "Excellent break all round. Would recommend."

"Breakfast was very good. Quiet. Comfortable walk to town."

"A beautifully decorated house, extremely clean and well appointed with tea, coffe and biscuits in rooms. Breakfast is outstanding with local produce and home made muesli and fruit salad, plus award winning marmalade made by Giles. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the centre of town. Andrea is cheerful, efficient and caring at breakfast time"

"Brilliant B&B. Large room which was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a good selection available and dietary needs well catered for. Hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay."

"The breakfast was stunning! Beautifully cooked with quality ingredients. "

"The room was lovely and clean. Super comfy bed and I really loved the dine-in kit. The hot tub was a great addition, very clean and easy to use. Had great communication with the team. Thank you !"

"Es una casa de huéspedes más que un hotel. No es que eso sea malo, pero hay que saberlo antes. Habitación algo pequeña. Lo mejor, el desayuno tradicional inglés, muy bueno."

"The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of."
