"Great location! Grocery was close by, the town of Vermilion is a jewel! There's so much to do! The neighborhood was quiet and very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed plus! The host provided great communication before during and at the end of our stay! They let us know they were available if we needed anything! "It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine."

"Was a nice, clean, and affordable two bedroom upstairs apartment in a duplex looking building, in a regular working class neighborhood. Definitely not handicap accessible but perfect for small Families. It seemed like the shower had a water softener and hot water never ran out. Street parking and had lots of air conditioners for the Summer so you won't roast. Said they had a blow dryer but couldn't find it. I had a great stay, Hosts were quick to respond to any questions. "

"This was a cute house in a nice neighborhood. We were able to walk a block to the water (just to see it). The town is drivable and so quaint. Please note that while the house had wifi and we were able to use the wifi for Voice over internet for our phone, our phone had no coverage (Verizon) it kept trying to connect to international, and we noticed that the part of the actual lake was right near the border of Canada. At night, we could hear the border control helicopters, which didn't bother...

You'll also find great donuts within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy a sweet treat. "This was a neat little place to stay m, offering a cabin like feel. Close walk to restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. It had everything I needed and then some in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice after days of long hikes. I’d stay here again. "
