"The Selwyn was a wonderful hotel and our stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lift, so no stairs needed to carry your cases up. "We stayed here for our daughter’s weeding on the hottest 2 nights of the year. The room was like an oven with 1 small fan and 2 small bottles of water (500ml). Totally inadequate for the weather being 32degress. There was no fridge, no air conditioning and no slippers or dressing gowns. Breakfast was extremely expensive at £34 per person per day. It’s a straight up hill 20 minute walk to the Village part of town and then from the village it’s another 15 or so minute walk to the courts. We did it once then used uber.
