"On the info it said "Park in front..." we had to park behind our rooms.
It would have been easier if there was a second step leading into the room off the footpath.
Good to have a games room, but not much variety of games. Our boys lost a coin in one (Table Ice Hockey) as it didn't work and couldn't find the table tennis balls.

"Have stayed at this location multiple times, with each and every occasion being absolutely wonderful! The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!"

"Booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Everything was fine at first until the little critters came out. To find we had rubbish bins behind our bedroom. At least 4 bins. Gross. "This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."
