There is not a dull moment in this home, the game room, the pool, the slide, paddle boards, rope swing. Not to mention it was beautifully decorated! We enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back!

Four couples who travel the world together met at this beautiful property to view the Total Solar eclipse. This was the perfect spot and the house felt like home for all of us as we arrived and settled in. Jon was so helpful pre-visit with a few questions about the home and the check in process was so easy and simple. He was so helpful and response for a few questions during our stay and we appreciated all of his help…such a nice guy! We grilled and made fabulous dinners together and had the perfect viewing spot for the eclipse on the top level of the lake side deck. The patio off the main level was a lovely spot for morning coffee overlooking the lake and for lingering in the evening over cocktails and memories of a fun weekend together. The beds were cozy and comfortable with plenty of space for all of us to relax together or have a quiet retreat in the spacious bedrooms. Simple drive from Austin and we had a fun day trip to Fredericksburg before enjoying the eclipse. Above all just loved relaxing at this lovely spot overlooking the lake in the Texas Hill Country.

The VRBO was amazing ! The pictures do not do it justice. It is even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures show. Our entire family from age one to 66 had a great time. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool, jumping platform and slide on the dock, fishing, kayaks ,and paddle boards outside. On the inside the game room was enjoyed by all. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spaced well for privacy and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the outside grill area. We rented a pontoon boat and a wave runner from Splash boat rental that is close by. We liked that the water by the dock was deep and free of moss and weeds so we could enjoy swimming and not worry about hitting the bottom of our boat when parking it. The manager John did a great job making sure we knew he was available for anything we needed ,although we did not have any issues with anything while at the home. We had a great time and can not wait to return to this VRBO again.

This home had everything! Plenty of space to spread out inside and out. We especially appreciated the rooms that had king beds and built in bunks. It was a perfect arrangement for us and every bedroom had an en-suite . The kitchen had a full assortment of appliances and the best coffee set up. The kids loved the heated pool and had a blast on the water slide into the lake. All in all a wonderful experience for the whole family.

This is a beautiful home. There are 5 bedrooms, four of which have a king bed and private bath; this is like having four master bedrooms! Two of those bedrooms also have bunk beds so that younger children can stay in the room with parents, if necessary. The bunk room sleeps 8. The pool is lovely; it is nice to have steps and also the wide, shallow landing for the little children. The view of the lake from the pool and patio is beautiful. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking and serving. There is an extra refrigerator/freezer in the utility room that came in handy. The long bar seats 6, and there is also a dining table. The house has a great sitting area for visiting and watching TV on the the first floor. We enjoyed a second large TV/play room upstairs with a pool table. We had plenty of room to spread out. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful experience renting this home. The only recommendation is to have an information sheet for those that may choose to heat the pool. Explaining what hours the heat will run, how high the heat will go & how to operate the pool features. Other than that, a fantastic rental experience!

My family and I traveled to Kingsland from Dallas for Thanksgiving week, no one wanted to host and it made the best reason to get out of town. The house is more even more gorgeous in person! There was plenty of room for our 4 families to relax together for 4 nights. I really appreciate that every room in the home has an en suite bathroom, it makes choosing rooms much easier, as well as each of them are very comfortable and provide plenty of room. While there, the girls were able to explore the cutest town of Kingsland, great boutiques and shops to walk around, while the guys golfed (so many options of courses). The kitchen was perfect to cook our Thanksgiving meal in, especially with 2 fridges. The best was between the garage with ping pong/ arcades for the little ones to hang out and the outside!!! It was fun to be on the back porch with the view of the lake and check out houses around it. It's not a super busy area of lake, so never overly noisy or annoying with boats going by. We had zero issues with the owners, they were able to communicate easily regarding our questions on the house. Our family can't wait to visit again soon!
